Well what can I say. We where here last year and tried the food and the family were blown away with the flavour. This year we returned to Stockbridge. Three nights into our stay and a second takeaway using the online booking. One of out favourites is Sylhety noodles 🍜. We always collect our food.
I can understand why Shanaz was awarded Edinburgh takeaway for 2023 as the food was delicious, the vegetable Kathmandu was amazing. Highly recommended.
Been ordering from Shanaz for years and I’ve never seen a change in their amazing standards! Food is amazing as always, authentic Indian. Staff are always friendly and the owner is fab! Orders are always freshly made, with great service and even better prices!
The best Indian I’ve ever had, is now a weekly order for our house. Would highly recommend, never fails to satisfy. Fast delivery, delivered by the loveliest staff with friendly faces.

Not only is the food great, they have great customer service. My partner ordered the wrong dish on our online order by accident. I took the dish back to the restaurant and they gave us the dish we wanted without question. We are forever grateful and will continue to eat here !

We had a Lamb Rogan Josh & Lamb Tikka Massala with boiled rice takeaway meals delivered & it was scrummy. DO recommend. Our local Shanaz is a long surviving Indian takeaway for good reason. Ordered Sunday 18:50 & arrived 17:10, 20 mins. Great value for money. Beautifully tender lamb & tasty sau
We order from them almost every Monday and the food has been great. Sometimes a bit hotter than normal but some of the guys love that. Keep it up please.
Got the chicken tikka vindaloo from here last night, was the cheapest Indian in the area so was a bit dubious but got to say, was absolutely amazing! Right heat, plenty of tasty chicken, piping hot, nice and thick.. Absolutely loved it no complaints at all.. The naan was OK as well, could have done
Their food is always lovely, and tastes really bright and fresh. Loads of choices for vegetarians. I order a meal delivered around every 3 weeks, and they're always prompt and friendly, and the food is always hot. Their prices are reasonable, and the food is tastier - and less oily - than at most
We ordered a carry out this evening. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The portions were very generous. It's great to have such an excellent carry out so near to where we live. We will definately be ordering from Shanaz again soon.
Best indian take away I've had in years.
I've purchased from here 3 times, the food is consistently tasty and fresh, chicken never dry or chewy and naan never burnt!
