Lovely wee place. Coffee was good and I had a butternut squash & feta frittata with the most amazing watermelon & fennel pickle. Super tasty. Staff were lovely and it had a nice relaxed feel to it all. Would definitely visit again.
I've been a customer for more than 2 years now. Despite the fact that customer loyalty is neither recognized nor rewarded, the minimum expectation would be to maintain honesty and professionalism.

My favourite sandwiches in the city, and probably up there in all time. Every day there's two offerings, one meaty and one vegan, and both are always superb - most notably because of the quality of the bread. And only £4.50 each!

Pastries and coffee are excellent but staff always seem to be downright miserable and borderline rude (in contrast to the Morningside store where they are always friendly). Up there with more expensive coffee in edinburgh too … £3.20 for a takeaway flat white.
Bread and pastries good, top end prices though. Staff are indifferent, borderline rude/up themselves. Lighten up a bit eh?
I live nearby and my friends told me I’d like this place. I really enjoyed my coffee but the staff could be nicer. I felt we were annoying them.
Stunning baked goods and well made coffee. I can't stress how good this welcoming and delightful little space is everything I want in a coffee shop.
Genuine care and attention to everything they do and make, always with a smile. The room it's self is well furnished and a nice place to get away for
A stunning new twist on the traditional cafe. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming. The staff were polite when we asked for sides that were not on the menu. Keep up the legendary work!
