Got the spicy braised beef flank in noodle soup and it was delicious! The beef is super tender, noodles nice and chewy, and the broth was rich. Personally wished it was spicer, but I've accepted that UK spice just doesn't go as hard lol
Delicious and spicy food, they also have non spicy options and vegetarian options. Highly recommend to try their smelly noodles with BBQ fish pot as shown in the pictures, it's not on the menu, so you need to ask the staff for this dish. The only thing that can be improved is price. A bit too expensive for lunch, expect to pay around £15-20 per person, but you will definitely be full!

We went there a Wednesday evening, and our experience was so nice! First, the service was very attentive and gentle. Many time, the waitress came to serve us from the many platers on the table, or to clean our mess! We really wanted to eat a real Sichuan meal with the appropriate level of spice and taste that we can find in Sichuan and we had it as asked!!! We were surprised by the faste service because we didn’t have the impression to wait for our food! We ordered the boiled fish in oily pepper broth, the hot and sour vermicelli, and the sichuan spicy fried chicken with bones: all of these 3 was so succulent, as we can find in China!!! It was impossible to stop eating until we finished all!!! Delicious food, good presentation and nice service experience!!! We recommend definitely this place!
I had the good fortune to stumble across this place and went back again three days later. Tasty Szechuan food at a fraction of the prices in London. I had wonderfully spicy chilli and salt tofu, and steamed belly pork with preserved vegetables which melted in the mouth. I loved their food. Service not speedy, but it was so worth the wait!
I ordered three main dishes and one appetizer for five people, and it was more than enough. The gyozas were very good, the duck was delicious, and the garlic on the pork was amazing.
I would come back to try more dishes.

Food was amazing! Genuinely authentic Chinese food! If you have been to China then the service is comparable to what you get there. If you have only been to English “Chinese restaurants” this might not be the place for you! We had a small problem with one dish but the waitress was super apologetic and sorted it out immediately.
The place has characters and what might be lacking slightly in service is made up for by the quality and quantity of food.
I would 100% come again and would recommend to anyone who considers themselves a foodie!!

It's an amazing traditional Chinese restaurant in Edinburgh. You can find authentic spicy Sichuan and other Chinese cuisine here. And the special seafood is really fresh and tasty. 100% recommended~

My husband and I wandered in around Christmas 2022 and this was some of the tastiest food we've ever eaten. We were treated so well by all staff, really felt the food was being showcased, and the atmosphere was great and so welcoming. Already can't wait to travel back up from Manchester to dine here again. 10 out of 10 recommend.
Overall the restaurant presented an cosy store with very hospitable staff. Food wise, the fusion of the meal was very experimental and I don't don't particularly favour this to traditional food as I found some of the food, was rather too sweet for my taste and that sweetest lost the original savory taste of the dish. If you love to take a some enjoyment over the quality of the food, you will have a good time. It is not necessarily bad, but I did feel there is room for improvement in terms of capturing the canton-chinese style of food. Their cook is tho, very good with spicy dishes. This is probably why I feel like they didn't nail the savory dishes very well.
