Great coffee, great scones, great brunch menu. Quieter than Kilamanjaro which is just a few minutes away, but identical menu (think it's the same owners?) so a perfect alternative for wen you want a peaceful start to your day! LOVE the bright yellow walls!

Sunny and light filled cafe with high ceilings and simple furnishings. Excellent London-based Square Mile beans and often another guest bean also on offer. Light meals and cakes available to supplement the diet in this university area
This is really a nice place to go for a quick meal, especially for me after classes. The scramble eggs are pretty good and I love their bread!!! Coffee is nice as well!!
My top 3 brunch cafe in Edinburgh. When I have to go BS early, I usually visit here and have a excellent branch menus. Potatoes menus are absolutely amazing. I strongly recommend.
I got the asparagus and eggs and was very pleased with the generous portions and hearty, thick cut brown toast. Lovely spot with a pleasant atmosphere.

Tasty food, similar to Kilimanjaro and I believe they have the same owner? Also they have these really nice marble tabletops that make for fantastic #basic food pictures.
A real gem. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked and came with marmalade which was an unexpected bonus. Sister cafe of Kilimanjaro and Two Children which have more seating.

Great space with a great menu! Perfect study spot if you like a bit of background noise and a nice cuppa. The team is very hospitable.
This cafe is not always crowded which makes me love it. It has yellow wall which can boost creativity and makes people happy. It also has seats beside a huge window so we can people-watching while drinking coffee. The coffee is quite good, and I recommended their fruit Scones with clotted cream and jam, it's super tasty! However, the music they play is not really suitable to complement the calmness in the cafe. But it's good and their toilets are okay.
Friendly coffee shop with great service and lovely home made food combined with rich flavour coffee makes this an excellent place to stop. Well priced too.

I have never been here before but a friend suggested to visit this coffee shop near the beautiful Meadows park. It was nothing to regret about it! As I don't drink coffee (anymore) I went with their Jasmine tea specialty. From the second the waitress served the tea I knew, it will be a delight to spend time with this delicate serving. The smell of the tea was perfect, I allowed it for a few minutes to brew, the total duration I was able to keep the cup around was about 2 hours. Gave me a light iovest buzz, perfect for a good conversation.
My friend, she had a latte and a croissant as her late brekkie. Nothing wrong with that, in my opinion. Since I already ate, I had to say no to the pastry she offered me to taste, however, now I wish I would've said yes. Just by the look of it, I already knew it was a mistake rejecting the offer. Now that I'm stuck with this review, I feel the real weight of making the wrong decision that day. Well, the croissant is just one thing, this friendly gem itself is worth a revisit for sure. The latte looked perfect, so next time, I will try to introduce the place to someone else. Press Coffee, bravo.
Excellent coffee, lovely interior, friendly staff
The coffee in here is really lovely. I came back because of the distinct taste. Although, I’m told it’s a seasonal coffee blend that changes every so often. But I’m intrigued now so will likely keep visiting. Had the Brie, Cranberry and Bacon panini and it was superb. Quaint and quiet little place. Nice.
