A new venue from Billy Lowe who created Le Monde. Some critic on tripadviser suggested it was a George Street Bar in Bruntsfield. CORRECT. What’s wrong with that. It’s lovely and well worth a visit. Great choice of wine and very friendly staff. So helpful as I wanted the TV on to watch the HSBC Sevens from Twickenham.
Excellent menu and the mac & cheese was unbelievably good! Service was also excellent with extremely attentive staff.

Absolutely stunning bar & Hotel....just what Bruntsfield has been in need of. Such a welcoming entrance with the outside area. Beautiful features inside creating an exceptional ambiance to relax and enjoy fine dinning and drinks. I’ll most certainly be back and highly recommend the Black Ivy Bar & Hotel.
We had a lovely breakfast here. Lovely surroundings and really pleasant staff made it a place to come back to again and again 😍
Really really impressed, food was delicious and between us all we had quite a few things off the menu, very reasonably priced and good atmosphere. We will definitely be going back

Had a lovely family Easter Sunday lunch yesterday. Food was great and the staff were very attentive. Face painting for the kids was fab and Easter cup cakes was a lovely added extra. Well done guys we will definitely be back. Loved it x
Got it pretty much perfect in my view. Staff are excellent, food great and the makeover has given the old place a new lease of life. New Year’s Eve was a particular highlight. Will be back soon.
We went to Black Ivy for a meal after the panto . I have to say beautiful surroundings and super efficient staff. Food was fabulous and the three children were well catered for.
First visit but certainly will not be the last.
