It’s a wonderful restaurant with good vibe and very friendly staff. The dishes are great too, with good variety of choices. Highly recommended.

Went here on a whim before heading on holiday to Spain to get us in the mood. I really did the job. Fantastic food, staff and setting. I really must give a shout-out to the staff they could not have been more friendly and accommodating only to be matched by the outrageously good food.

A cost place for Spanish food. There was a variety of tapas available and they were generally good. I was impressed by the tortilla and pork cheeks, both were well cook and in good texture. Though the seafood were not the best I have had in Edinburgh and some were relatively small in portions. The waitress did make good recommendations on the sherry - there were lots of choices of sherry on the menu, from dry to very sweet ones. We simply loved what we had. There is a dance studio named Alba Flamenca adjacent to Tapas 3. It holds flamenco performance sometimes and I visited once during the Fringe, worth to check if there would be any show when you decide to dine in Tapas 3.

I've been here three times in a month! There aren't that many Spanish restaurants and it was great to discover this one. The food is really lovely -- fresh, tasty, and a decent selection (the menu isn't huge but I like that they focus on making everything as good as possible). I especially like the cod croquettes, the grilled peppers, the pork cheeks and the cold meat/cheese platter. The only disappointing dish for me (and I've tried like 20, I'm not kidding) was the aubergine -- I expected quite a lot from the description but it just didn't really do much for me. Service - knowledgable and friendly staff, making for a relaxed time. Atmosphere -- it's a small place but well laid out so it doesn't feel congested. Simple but effective, and I like that you can see the kitchen/bar as they prepare things. Hard to believe they do such nice food from such a tiny kitchen actually! One little complaint: I booked lunch for a week's time and when I turned up, they'd gotten rid of their lunch deal. It was kind of the reason I had booked lunch in the first place. In the end it cost me about £40 instead of £30 (for two people) so not a huge problem but I wish they had the lunch deal (or maybe noticed that I'd booked when it existed and honoured that, but I get it.) I'll certainly be back, I'm sure!

Delicious food at reasonable prices and good portions. Would especially recommend the almond tart - one of the best desserts I’ve ever had

Had a lovely time at Tapas3. Laura was a wonderful waitress. The passion fruit martini was amazing! The tapas were also good, black pudding was the best followed by the octopus. Enjoyed the meat and cheese boards! Visit if you get a chance!

Food was amazing and scrumptious! Service was excellent! Will definitely visit this place again! They had a gentlemen playing on the guitar on the Friday evening and on Saturday they had a dancer.

Just been for lunch for tapas meal with my daughter. First time in the this restaurant, after reading reviews. Chose 6 different tapas meals with bread. All freshly cooked and were delicious. Also had a bottle of rose wine to accompany meal. Off the main road, wouldn't know it was there. Would definitely recommend and staff were nice too. Will be back in the future.
