I absolutely loved this garden! It feels like a dream home. It's delightful and incredibly cozy. The food was delicious, and their own teas were equally wonderful. We literally sat beneath the apricot tree; it felt like being in a heavenly garden. It's definitely worth a visit. Also, I bought a couple wild strawberries for my balcony garden, and I'm thrilled about it.

Every full moon the Secret Herb Garden offers a special full moon set dinner with wine pairing. If you are not a vegan it is very good value. The setting is beautiful, fairy lights and candles in the old glasshouse, it is magical. I gave this 4 out of 5 stars though because clearly the chef treats the vegan options as a necessary evil, possibly to allow a meat-eating family to bring along their sullen vegan teenager. The meat and fish courses were served with generous portions and beautifully presented. The vegan option was nicely presented but overall offered a very meager portion, perhaps 20% if the calories of the meat. While you would expect the vegan options to be lighter on caloric values, the vegan course was far too small to keep up with the wine pairing. The staff poured generous glasses of wine and offered refills, which is lovely, but on an almost empty stomach things got a little giddy. It is a shame, that in the 21st century, that some chefs still treat vegetarian and vegan options as a side-show. TSHG could learn from restaurants such as Dean Banks and Timberyard and how they serve non meat options. Or just from veggie places like David Bann on how to make a dinner-sized meal sans ox cheek, rather than a a small snack. Despite this I would definitely go back. I loved the atmosphere and the setting. I would just eat before going out to dinner next time. :)

WEDDING VENUE REVIEW - If I could give Karen & her team here a 1000 stars I would. If you are looking for a wedding that is tailored to you, intimate with an abundance of support along the way then this is the place to get hitched. Let's not forget you don't have to do much to make this venue look absolutely magical! Karen was like a bit in a wedding planner! She made the planning on the lead-up to the wedding easy, she was there to calmly answer all my irrational questions and thoughts! On the day she was an absolute dream, ran the day with military precision, the rest of the team are like a well-olied machine, we could just sit back and enjoy. Food incredible, rated best wedding food by everyone there! We were made to feel so special on the day, even admist my panic - what more could you ask for!

Had brunch in the gorgeous glass house. Such an incredible space for a cafe! Food was tasty, but a bit pricey for the small servings. That'll be because you're paying for the *~*~☆experience☆~*~*. Had a lovely stroll around the gardens after brunch and couldn't rate them better!

Beautiful place to visit. Lovely food in served in a big greenhouse that has grape vine tied to the ceiling and is very nicely set up. Would definitely go back.

Great place just on 5he outskirts of Edinburgh. I recommend the scones! If you like craft gin, they make a vast array of different flavours.

Not been here in ages, has changed quite a lot, much more formal seating, coffee was very nice, cakes looked great but didn't have any food. Fantastic that it's dog friendly so we could bring our new pups. Staff very friendly. Love the quirkiness of the place

Today is my first visit to the Fhior Garden Cafe. The cafe is inside a glasshouse which gets very warm when it's sunny. The staff is very friendly. I ordered the vegan foccacia sandwich and enjoyed it. The Isle of Wight tomato is sweet and juicy. The garden leaves are fresh and flavourful. The black garlic puree inside the sandwich tastes nice and is not spicy. I also ordered a peppermint tea which is flavourful. The herb is from the garden.

Great cafe with a lovely atmosphere and service. The cakes and food are a bit overpriced for what they are. Generally nice selection of cakes. The food could do with some improving.

The staff at the Cafe were lovely and helpful. Not too many food choices though. The lady at the Gin Tasting was absolutely rude. I was there with my family for my birthday and told I could go the gin tasting to try some gins and I didn’t know which one I would like. I walked in with my sister and was completely ignored. We stood there, walked around for about 10 minutes and the lady at the counter didn’t even acknowledge us.
