We happened upon this quaint restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The 2 course and 3 course options gave us the chance to try 5 dishes in one evening. The tempura shrimp and cauliflower were tasty. The ducks was cooked perfectly and the vegetable risotto was nice. We had our cheese and crac
Had the most amazing Scottish breakfast and chai tea. Decently priced, tasted amazing and extremely filling.
Loved this place, incredible English / Scottish breakfast, friendly to vegetarians, never too crowded, fantastic service
Finally it's my time to try this lovely place! Staff are really friendly and amiable which gave us a very good impression. I had a beef burger which was very juicy and tasty! My wife ordered a duck liver and orange pate which was quite rich in flavour. The vibe is as good as their sister, Urban Fox,
Amazing breakfast. If you’re the first time in Scotland try Full Scottish one. Lovely atmosphere. Delicious coffee with drawing on top🥰
Lovely chilled atmosphere with a decent menu. Loved the tempura prawns and pork belly starters and the burgers were tasty. Dog friendly too. Slightly away from the main tourist areas but only a short walk to a quieter area.
Absolutely cracking find for breakfast! Great location, lovely atmosphere inside. Waiting staff very attentive. Food was divine. Wish we lived closer so it could be our local haunt!
A hidden gem for breakfast/brunch. Food is top quality, delicious amd great portion sizes. Great sweet and savoury options for all - would highly recommend. Staff are lovely and a great atmosphere.
We'd been staying in the area and had walked past here a few times, always looked like a popular place so we popped in for some brunch today and enjoyed some really good food. It was quite busy, very relaxed and laid back vibe. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the smoked salmon and scra
This was a lovely little place for food, with gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available. Food was fresh, hot and delicious and the staff were very friendly. Our lunch was delicious, well worth a visit.
Great service, great bar menu and the food is extremely affordable and gourmet quality.
They fit us in without a reservation (lesson learned). The food was surprisingly good and priced reasonably. The 3 course dinner with the trout was delicious and only 25£. A great find!
New Town Fox is a bit removed from the busy downtown area but still well withing walking distance. Went for dinner on a Saturday as a family of four for the the 2 and 3 course menues: Pork Belly, Tempura Prawns, Duck Breast, Crackers and Cheers. Everyone was happy. Good food and very friendly team.
Delicious Scottish brunch restaurant located not too far from downtown Edinburgh. Great food, great service, great atmosphere— I recommend the pancakes and lemonade! We will definitely be coming back during our next trip.
Really good Scottish breakfast here and I love how they have a vegetarian option. Good coffee as well.
We ate here every night we were in Edinburgh -- fantastic variety of food, great drinks and friendly and efficient service. Youd be missing out if you didn't stop by for the budget friendly price fixe or ala carte menu.
Very tasty cooked breakfast with friends, left me full until dinner time. Great coffee and nice atmosphere.
The food was so tasty, the duck was cooked to perfection. I would have given 5 stars but both mains had very little jus/sauce on them that it made the meals a bit dry.
