Bonsai - Edinburgh - Photo album

The Broughton Street branch of Bonsai is the second one in Edinburgh and follows the same theme as the first. Really good quality sushi at a low price. The Bento box is great value at £9.99 and gives you a bowl of Miso Soup, a choice of main course and Japanese rice. The staff are always really fri
This is the second Bonsai in Edinburgh, a variation on the winning formula of good food at good prices with a slightly nicer decor. I think that Bonsai is family run - there's certainly that feel to it, and I recognise several of the staff, who add to the casual atmosphere without being slapdash. Th
We have been frequenting Bonsai in Newington for years after discovering the joy, and benefits, of Japanese food and have never had a bad experience. My sister and I go here all the time - it's got a nice casual atmosphere and the quality of the sushi is great for the price. The menu also has good variety - and it has chips! Hurray!
I was a huge fan of the original Bonsai, and this additional branch is bigger, brighter and possibly even better. The best sushi I've found in Edinburgh.
Really nice sushi with good veggie choices.
