One of the standout features of this restaurant was undoubtedly the attentive and charming waitress who took care of our every need. Her genuine enthusiasm and knowledge about the menu were truly commendable. Not only did she provide excellent recommendations, but she also patiently answered our questions and ensured that we had a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Her impeccable timing and attention to detail truly elevated our evening to new heights. I wish I had remembered her name. The food itself was tasty. The portions were generous and the flavors were exquisite. The restaurant's decor added a touch of elegance and sophistication. The ambiance was inviting, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

We had breakfast here. The cafe is located on the main road and easy to find. The waiter was lovely and we enjoyed chatting with him. Breakfast was a 10/10. The hash browns are super nice and crunchy. I really recommend visiting these café!!

Although our hotel was close by, I would happily go out of my way to eat here. I had the full Scottish breakfast, which was a delightful challenge. The cafe was busy, a great sign, but we had no issue getting seated without prebooking. The staff were really welcoming, food was served quickly and there was a lot of it!! Would return if in Edinburgh again.

We stopped in this cafe for a quick bite to eat and order something warm to drink. We were not disappointed. Staff was super friendly! It’s a “ must pop in” if you’re on the Royal Mile.

So lovely to sit and watch the Royal Mile pass by as we tucked into a great meal and coffee served by fantastically efficient staff. Such a unique dining experience.

Looking for the best Scottish breakfast? Look no more as this place is insane. Best waffle, best Scottish eggs, best Scottish breakfast, best service while in Edinburgh. We found this place on Google maps and we decided to have our first breakfast while in Scotland. Best decision ever. Everything was superb. Food to die for, atmosphere and service 100/10. Im drooling thinking about that waffles that I had and how silly from me to not order the sweet ones also. I'm sure I will visit this place again if in Scotland. I liked this place from the beginning but made me love it while seeing free feminine hygiene products available in washroom. Small touch that makes big difference. Keep up the good work ❤️

Nice place to have lunch. The Scottish pie is good but with too much pepper sauce. Try the Edinburg eggs, it’s tasty.

It was truly the Scottish Breakfast experience. Staff were super friendly, breakfast was tasty (a good portion with fair price) and the place is very traditional.

Excellent service. We came in with 50 minutes before a tour. We told the waitstaff and they made it happen. Wide variety from just muffins, or waffles to a full out Scottish breakfast that has haggis, black pudding, potato scone, sourdough bread - the whole works. Easy to find on High St - with ample seating.

Amazing food, in a cute & quirky café setting, with fantastic staff. Mum and I were in Edinburgh for three days, and originally stopped in here because it was open earlier than other local cafés (we're morning people), but the quality of the food and the customer service brought us back three additional times, for two more breakfasts and a lunch. I highly recommend Café Edinburgh for any time of day!

Omg what a find !! Have eaten here in November 2021 with a friend. This time six had breakfast. First time trying Haggis and won’t be the last. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this cafe.

Had an amazing experience here! The staff were immensely helpful as we were travelling with a fussy toddler. They offered our child books to read while we ate. The portions were perfect, and the food was delightful. Altogether a great time!

Went around 11am in the week for brunch. Had a full Scottish and a French toast. Prices are as too be expected on the Royal Mile, and the food is brilliant. Staff are also lovely, very friendly. Definitely worth a visit, great brunch spot.

In Edinburgh for the Military Tattoo, had several hours to wait and needed to find somewhere to eat. By chance we came across Cafe Edinburgh. Friendly and welcoming staff. The lady who took our order was extremely friendly, cheerful and professional. Atmosphere is very relaxed. Food was excellent. Will definitely call in again when we are in Edinburgh.
