Best chippy in Scotland, as far as I'm concerned. The owners and staff are not only kind, but generous.

I poped in just to try my very first deep fried mars bar... and it was perfect! I stayed for deep fried pizza and got extra serving of kebab meat for free ... lads behind a counter are very friendly and polite... i can't recomend them more :)

A wonderful place that saved my life at 1:30am after lots of beer. The fish and chips are delicious, as well as the deep fried pizza or the fried Mars bar. The service is extremely friendly and it's a very clean and nice location.

Went there to grab food the evening after arriving in Scotland. Food was good, portions were massive, and service was exceptional. Freshly made fish and chips at Salt and Vinegar is the best, especially after a night out. They are open till late in the night and are always hospitable!
