A warm welcome always awaits us here to enjoy the most incredible homemade lunches. The Cullen skink and lentil soup are out of this world! Not to mention the fabulous scones, coffee and sweet treats. Thanks for making us at home either inside or out and giving us the daily dose of fresh air and chat we always look forward to.

A nice place to get something to eat and drink after exploring Cramond. The hot chocolate was very refreshing.

Great wee place for a hot cup of coffee or lunch after a walk along the shore. I had a cream cheese and salmon bagel, and my husband had the Cullen skink. Both were great!

Had a lovely lunch here with my friend after our walk, we both had the lentil soup in huge bowl's and very tasty it was with their own freshly baked rolls, this was finished off with a big wedge of carrot cake with coffee.....The staff were very nice and attentive, will definitely be back.

Booked a table for me and mum to have coffee and cake this morning and was very surprised to get an apologetic text first thing to let me know they were awaiting an engineer and weren't sure they would be able to open at the time of our booking. They were brilliant at keeping me informed as to what was happening and we did get in at the time we had booked. I feel this was exceptional customer service, letting us know of a potential issue in plenty of time for us to arrange to go elsewhere had we wished. They were absolutely lovely when we arrived and we had delicious fruit scones fresh from the oven. We even had the delight of meeting their lovely wee boy 🥰 I would highly recommend this fabulous wee place and definitely plan a return visit. Oh, and the views are amazing!

It is no exaggeration to say this was the best coffee I have ever had. Smooth, rich and delicious. The bagels were perfect, someone has clearly put a lot of thoughts into the balance of flavours and quality ingredients. The carrot cake was great. The cosy little stone venue was just what we needed to shelter from the rain after a hike around cramond island. The prices aren't cheap but this is no high street corner cafe, it's fresh quality food with a great view in a prime location. We spent £20 each on two hot drinks each, a bagel with tortilla chips and salad, and a cake.

Wonderful little place near the island, just what we needed. Good coffee, lovely homemade carrot cake. Friendly staff all reasonably priced. Excellent view from the outdoor seating, the boats, the island, the firth. Excellent place.

We got some take away bagels and panini. They were good, nothing to write home about. I liked the salmon and cream cheese bagel!

We feel like we are sharing this review a bit late but my partner and I found ourselves stranded in the area (our bike locks had broken) on a rainy day. The Manager was kind enough to let us in to get out of the rain and use our phones, despite them not having enough space. We also did have plenty of time whilst waiting for a locksmith to come out to have a hot chocolate and a sandwich; both of which were delicious. So, a very belated but yet still very heartfelt thank you for your kindness on the day and highly recommend for the service (bike stress or not!) and the delicious food!

As we walked in the door we were both very pleased to see our waitress clean our table with disinfectant spray and a fresh paper towel. The service was prompt and courteous. My wife's cappuccino was superb. However, the simple cup of char that I had ordered was incredibly weak; I'd bet she didn't warm the pot. Also in the flurry of panic buying they must have been all out of Scottish tea because what I drank was pish. The atmosphere is cozy. There is outdoor seating overlooking a spectacular scene of the Lothian river and the Firth of Forth. A decent cuppa would have yielded 5 stars.
