My husband and I absolutely loved visiting when we were in Edinburgh in September from Alabama. The cherry almond scone was fabulous. We had the Scottish sampler, and it did not disappoint. My husband’s sandwich was great too. Very friendly staff and warm atmosphere!
Quality food at its best ! You feel that the people working here love their job. The haggis & egg roll was amazing ! The cherry scone outta this world. Will be back. And great coffee !!!
What a great place to visit ! Sausage roll, tuna melt and scotch pie were fantastic. Thanks for explaining brown sauce and chippy sauce :) Cherry BakeWell for dessert. We’re not vegan but my wife doesn’t eat dairy and the options were fantastic. They even made dairy free scones for us ! 🇨🇦
Had an amazing time at this bakery when I went a couple of weeks ago! We were lucky to get some space at a table since the place is small but it was lovely! I got the scotch pie which I was super excited to try and everyone in my party said that they wish they would have gotten it as well! Super ric
I wish I could give this place more stars!! The baked goods we got were amazing, a doubler, Cornish pasty, and a cheese scone. They were lovely and would eat there every morning if I lived there. Hayley and her partner were so welcoming and helpful. She took her time to explain the menu and speak wi
My partner and I visited for breakfast and were impressed by the selection available on the menu - and the ability to make a custom breakfast roll too! I’m a veggie so seeing vegetarian square sausage and vegetarian haggis on the menu was a nice surprise. The coffees were really tasty, and we were t
We’ve had breakfast here the last 2 days and our breakfast rolls have been fantastic! We also got some rolls and scones for a snack later and they were also lovely. Service was incredible and they were so sweet! They remembered us from the previous day :) 10/10 recommend stopping by for a quick brea
Finally got to check this place out after following them on TikTok for a while and I'm happy to report that it lived up to the hype. I ordered a cherry scone with a coffee and it was one of the best scones I've ever had! My husband and I also got to chat with one of the owners and he was incredibly
The scones were so delicious, even the plain one with a bit of butter tasted suspiciously nice, we didn't expect that. You can make your own roll, so I had something with bacon cheese and egg and it was great. The 2 staff members we talked to were awfully nice
I have been coming here for a few years now and will say the helpfulness of all here, banter and quality of food make this a great wee place to have breakfast or lunch. There’s a good selection and helpful guides available for anyone unsure what to order. Also everyone here is happy to answer quest
Family run business since 1956. Had a breakfast roll made from owner’s grandpa’s recipe. Lovely pastrami and pickle roll - only £2.7 in 2023 =O
Hands down some of the best food we had while in Scotland! Everything we had was so incredibly delicious! We got to speak with one of the owners when he brought our food to us too, and not only was he very welcoming, but he also gave us so many great recommendations for restaurants to try and places
Amazing Haggis and potato roll for an excellent price. Good coffee as well. Please can we have more affordable shops like these with friendly staff, it makes life so much better when walking around and exploring on a budget :)
I love the Scottish/American fusion in some of the dishes and absolutely love that they’re using some of the same recipes from 3 generations ago. Such a cool place and amazing ownership. Couldn’t ask for nicer people.
Unveil the Hidden Gem of Edinburgh! I treated myself to the irresistible Hayley breakfast roll and the freshly baked cherry scone, both of which I can't recommend enough. The experience was so delightful that we returned the following day for another satisfying breakfast. If you're in search of a qu
I was visiting Edinburgh with my wife and we happened on this place just up the street from our Air BnB. We didn't go anywhere else to get breakfast during our stay! Morning rolls and scones are just delicious, I highly recommend The Taylor. Great coffee too. Just perfect!
