Tasted very typical Cantonese style. No Sichuan Pepper, thankfully! A hint of dried chilli taste was alright. Stir Fry Beef with Spring Onions (£7++). Very nicely whipped up - the beef was tender and the sauce was just about right! HK chef if I remember correctly... So you'll get more Cantonese flavours.

Time for the main. I ordered a braised aubergine curry with copious amounts of fluffy egg fried rice. A feast for the senses, the fluffiness of the rice and the hot yet sour taste of the gently fried aubergines. What a change from the usual Chinese sweet and sour and sweetcorn soup!

Awesome food. Good location. Great salt pepper squid. Portions were good. Short walk back to our hotel. Lucky Edinburgh folk!!! My pics went up earlier not the review so re-posting here.

Average Chinese food, some dishes are fine, some are not - salted egg yolk squid is to be avoided. Reservation is recommended, walked in really early at 11ish and they had only one last table. Surprisingly there is actually a crowd here, guess you can't expect much in Edinburgh.

Great reataurant, friendly service and delicious food ! We had black pepper beef - tender, well seasoned and served on sizzling plate, szechuan chicken (normally comes with bones but we prefer boneless meat) which was aromatic, savoury and spicy. On side we had fresh steamed rice and delicious homemade meat dumplings with tangy dipping sauce. As a desert, courtesy of the lovely chef and manager, we had banana fritters- super crispy coating and decent amount of honey. Will definitely be back for more. Thank you!

You know you hear about those little spots that don't look much but the food is boss, this is one of them. Especially if you know your northern cuisine. Best Chinese food in Edinburgh and probably Scotland.

Ordered food for collection. Food was very good quality and was able to choose some more unusual dishes than more westernised Chinese restaurants. The main reason for the high score was customer service - the venue had unfortunately run out of a specific ingredient. They handled this very well by calling to communicate, offering alternatives and then ensuring ready for collection with rest of the order (despite short order time). Very nice friendly staff. Can't wait to return to eat-in.

Excellent Chinese food - it might not look like much but everything we ordered was delicious. We were a big group and shared 15 or so dishes - all of which were great. Very helpful staff too - able to alter dishes to suit various people's needs. Highly recommended.

Some of the best value Chinese food I had in the UK (especially comparing to London, where I live). Good portion and authentic cuisine with a taste of home! Occasionally dishes fall under average (I didn't like the fried rice I had) but in general it's a great place to go.

A busy, busy Chinese restaurant, this is about as far from your Chinese buffet, lemon chicken experience as you'll find in Edinburgh. Serving uncompromising Northern Chinese dishes from Shandong there are some challenging dishes such as pig lung (better than it sounds) but the pork dumplings are just superb, moist and packed with flavour. The downsides are the popularity of this place with busloads of Chinese tourists can make it hard to get a table and it can be VERY loud

The most authentic Chinese food I have tasted since I lived in Hong Kong many years ago. Its the real thing, some of the menu perhaps not to European taste. But hey, try it, you might like it? Reasonable prices, and Tsing Tao beer.

I come here all the time for my Chinese fix in Edinburgh and I bring anyone visiting that fancied some Chinese food. The dishes are more leaning towards authentic than other places in Edinburgh. The roast duck is a big highlight (definitely order it on the bone) though they often run out, do get in quick. Often see large groups of Chinese tourists here.

This is a great place to go to if you want to have anthentic Chinese food. Friendly staff and great food. Had a very enjoyable dinner there on Friday evening. I loved the Combo in Chilli sauce and Sichuan peppercorn which has always been my favorite. Highly recommend.

Wing sing definitely delivered in the taste stakes . Proper Chinese food the way it should be without a gloopy sauce or dodgy limp veg in sight . Definitely returning . I have been trying to find a Chinese restraunt the serves up the kind of food I fell in love with in China and this was by far the best in Edinburgh up til now ,It will be hard to beat .
