Was walking along Princes street and stumbled upon this Indian wrap shop. We tried the Pratha (crispy and flakey bread) wrap, originally ordered two (lamb and chicken) but it tasted so good we also ordered the vegetarian ones (paneer and bean?) they had a price of two wraps for £4.99, the portion was not huge but two wraps per person would be very satisfying. It was made on the spot so it was still hot and crispy. After that, I read the reviews of this place, and I saw many unhappy reviews, firstly: the employees were very welcoming and they invited us in with the menus. Secondly: the food also tasted great and wasn’t unfresh. However, I only tried a part of the menu, but I definitely recommend a try at the place!!!

Tasty, but would an interesting take on Mexican. The sweet potato upgrade was a bit different, but worth a try. Would also have liked a choice of beans, but otherwise a nice lunch option.

Great food! Lots of variety for Mexican food. I had a chicken burrito and we also ordered a side of chips and salsa. Salsa and guacamole were excellent. Hidden gem, for sure. The music is wonderful as well. The staff were great. I highly recommend this place! Only issue was how small it is. But they have large benches for families.

I've been here a few times and every time, the service is pretty quick and the food is delicious. There are typically several vegetarian options for the filling (and special vegan options on Tuesdays, though I haven't been out for those) which is really nice and you can mix and match with different formats (tacos/burritos/fajitas etc) and sizes. Definitely a good spot for a quick bite.

A place that keeps it real. Real food, real taste and real people. A chilled but efficient team in good spirit. No fake smiles here it's a genuine set up. The food was delicious and full of flavour. Enough options for all including vegans, and everything is made on front of you so it's as honest as you get. I had a burrito with pulled pork and took the spicy salsa. It was a good size for me and good value for what u get for your money.

Came across this place initially thinking it was some sort of dessert parlour. The food looked appealing so I gave it a try and I was surprised how good it was. The staff were very friendly and made sure we were happy. Would recommend to anyone looking for Indian street food - great place !

Absolutely fabulous Mexican food at Taco Mazama! We had a HUGE Pork and Beans Burrito and Grilled Chicken Tacos. Both delicious and obviously freshly made. The owner and staff were nice and friendly and even brought over a bowl of water for my dogs! Did I say they are Dog-Friendly?! I can only give this place the highest recommendation. The next time you are on Princes Street in Edinburgh, do yourself a favour and have a meal (or two) at Taco Mazama! Good things do come in small packages.

I love the chicken burrito they serve here. At least once a week I will pass up the usual drivel in the work canteen and head along to Taco Mazama. It is slightly more expensive than going to McDonalds or Subway for lunch. However, a regular burrito is far more filling and means I will not spend my afternoon snacking. Delighted to see they are opening another outlet in Ocean Terminal.

Went here yesterday after a stressful primark shop and needed a bite to eat and I'm so glad I did! The food is amazing, everything is your choice and great value for money. Will definitely be dragging my friends after shopping!

Admittedly not very atmospheric, Taco Mazama is still worth a trip for its tasty range of burritos. Whether treating yourself at lunchtime or for a late night snack after a night on the town, the three sizes on offer mean you can match your order to your appetite, and they always have a good selection of fillings, whether meat or veggie. Usually I'm a pulled pork girl but I was tempted by the beef and chorizo chilli last time and didn't regret it! Cheery staff too, and you can enjoy the gallery of people who have succeeded (and many more who failed) in the giant burrito eating challenge!

I have enjoyed my food here. It is not expensive. A good variety of soft drinks. The flavours are basic but clean and well prepared.
