Another family run place, you often see the owner talking to international students in their native language.

Lovely little noodle place, they have great dumplings as well. I'd say the soups are better down the road at Cafe Andamiro but this place is better for Chinese (noodles and dumplings).

Like Andamiro, it's reasonably priced and the two of us ate in under 15 pounds.

Definitely merits another visit when I'm craving Chinese.

I think they've upped the prices and it's no longer value for money.

A really good little Chinese noodle place, complete with some bizarre dishes (whelk dumplings, anyone?), this is a great spot for a quick and filling bowl of soupy noodles.

We concluded by saying: "Tasty Noodle does what its name suggests. It’s a lovely little hideaway serving delicious and well-priced dishes. I look forward to visiting again and would recommend you give it a try."

This place might look underwhelming, but don't be underwhelmed! (Be overwhelmed, or at least whelmed.) The noodles are hand made. The owner/chef/proprietor guy works long hours finding ingredients and making his noodles. He's very friendly and he cooks everything fresh to order. The noodles are handmade. The entire kitchen is visible from the dining area so you can see what he's up to. I've been a few times now and the things I tried were delicious. The beef noodle soup is especially nice. (the best flavour in noodle soups settles at the bottom, so stir it up). Also, the noodles are handmade.

Hidden gem. Literally not on the map. Authentic Chinese, small (but comfortable), similar prices to other local noodle bars. Excellent beef and noodle soup!

I ate beef fried noodle, it was delicious. The meat is generous, the vegetables are fresh and I love the noodle texture. You can order small or large portion, It costed me £8.5 for small portion. The uncle is very friendly, don't forget to bring cash, because the payment is cash only.

The beef noodle soup was amazing and intense with flavor. The owner/chef was happy to reccommend me dishes, which was helpful. Place is small and accepts cash only. Highly reccommend

I had the beef noodles and dumplings. Bill came to about 18 pounds. The dumpling was 10 and noodle about 7-8 pounds. It was pretty decent. A one man show who is the chef-server-boss. The food came quick even though it was just one person . The restaurant is tiny and probably fits about 15 at most.

My wife and I visited Edinburgh for 5 days. This was the best meal we had! Dumplings were so good that we ordered 20pcs takeaway to bring with us as we continued on to Skye. We had the beef noodle soup, braised curry beef brisket with rice, and the chinese pork dumplings. All were superb!

Not since I had noodles hand pulled in front of me in Hong Kong have they tasted this good. Kudos to the owner for being a one man show! Two types of dumplings were also superb.

The beef noodle soup is amazing! Best noodle soup I've had in Edinburgh. The place is tiny (four tables) and it's a one man show. You can watch as the chef makes your food in the kitchen. Customer service is kind of non-existent so go for the food, not the service. Very much a hole-in-the-wall place. Bring cash!

Came in tonight with my sibling. We are visiting the city for the weekend. We ordered beef fried noodles, chicken fried noodles, vegetable dumplings and 2 cokes. The food is so so so nice. Portions are generous and the owners are friendly. I couldn't finish all my food so I took the rest away. Would recommend. To the owners: Thank you for the food, it was delicious

Great Service & Great Food! My husband took me there last week, it's a small space with amazing noodle dishes. I had the Seafood Noodle Soup, there was plenty of seafood (squid, mussels and prawns) and very filling. I think it would be hard to leave hungry with thwir portions. Definitely going again.

Tasty noodles - The name says it all! ***BRING CASH*** The broth in particular is extremely tasty! My friend and I both tried the beef and noodle soup and the seafood dumplings. We got a healthy sized bowl of noodle and delicious beef that topped it off.

Probably the best Asian place in Edinburgh. Some of the dishes are a bit of a hit or miss but the hot and sour never fails to impress. Very flavorful broth and well marinated beef. The price is also very fair.
