If you want to taste the best biriyani you cannot miss lazeez. During my stay in Edinburgh and after I came back India if there is one biriyani that I keep talking about is Lazeez. I haven't tasted a better biriyani than this. I don't remember eating any other dish other than biriyani here. So my rating is only for the biriyani and mostly we preferred takeaway here as the place is very small.
I have been to this restaurant quite a few times. The place is more suited for takeaways as the restaurant itself does not have much space, but the food is good.
For people who want to eat food with less oil, I would say that the place is not for you, but honestly speaking, the food is very tasty.
They should look to expand their kitchen and space so that they can serve more people in less time.
This one is one of my regular takeaways!! Though it does not look quite fancy takeaway, but the taste and quality of food is not lesser than any big restaurant. chicken tikka/ prawns biriyani , chicken tikka punjabi masala won't disappoint you at any time. Though i don't prefer too much oil so always request them to mind oil in my curries. They also offer few tables to sit in. overall a nice place for takeways.
I heard a few mentions that Lazeez was one of the better places in the city for Indian takeaway. I'm not a particularly frequent user of takeouts and deliveries, but when I had the opportunity, I was quick to take it up. I was not disappointed as the dish I sampled was highly impressive. I will make a point of coming back for another visit, soon.
We concluded by saying: "I thought Lazeez was very good indeed. I’d be happy to recommend a visit and look forward to trying more dishes from their menu."
Been eating here since I was 5 and I still do. The food is really good and fresh and the workers are lovely. In my opinion they make the best chicken tikka pizza in Edinburgh and would 100% recommend this takeaway to anyone.
One of the few places that make proper keema (mincemeat) parathas. Tasty and authentic, which mat be a bit too spicy for some. Best eaten with yoghurt or raita. Parathas are quite lare and filling. They aloo (potato) paratha was a bit boring though.
The food was delivered in just under an hour. The portions were huge. It tasted ok. The chef uses lots of spices and oil which adds to the flavour.

It's your typical corner shop style indian but these kinds of places are always the best. For someone who eats Indian food often I always try a new place to find something better and the food is honestly the best I have had so far. Great, to the point service
If you are looking for good food ... this is the place... they deliver to city center... we dine in... small place ... only two to three tables.... owner is pakistani... speaks urdu .. hindi english... nice man and good food... dont expect anything more

Still better than other take aways
Very nice local eatery. They deliver but you can also have sit inside. Lamb Vindaloo will burn you twice!!
