I have been to Frankie & Benny's several times, there is an extensive menu that caters for all budgets. We usually go for the set menu which is very good value for money and cost depends on how many courses you have. The decor is old American diner style and the food is influenced by that and it has an Italian flare to it too I think.. I've always enjoyed my time here, the customer service is usually great, I've never had a bad experience. I recently went to Frankie & Benny's at straiton, Edinburgh but its not on this app for some reason. Whatever restaurant you go to it is always apparent that families are welcome (because of the noise level) On special occasions the staff are very caring. One mother's day I went with my mum to the straiton restaurant and my mum came away with a card and box of chocolates from Frankie & Benny's and on her birthday they brought her desert lit with a candle/sparkler and put on happy birthday music for the whole restaurant to enjoy. As mortified as she was it was great fun :-)
Great food. Loved the kids menu, it comes with a great selections of each (drink, main, 2 sides and dessert)

Went in before a show on Monday night. The staff were very polite and friendly. Our waiter was lovely and our drinks were brought promptly. The food was delicious. The burger was obviously homemade, and had lots of toppings. The chips were freshly cooked. We ordered starters and mains and were stuffed. The cocktails were yummy and very generous. Also very reasonably priced as I tend to find alcohol in restaurants expensive. We would have stayed for dessert but we had to make the show. It was a very nice atmosphere, the music was the perfect level and no rowdy customers. Will definitely be back :)
Your waiter can really make or break your experience at a restaurant, and if every person on here was served by our waiter, this place would have five stars! I’ve been here quite a few times and never necessarily had a bad experience, but this evening was truly exceptional because of how charming and eager to help the waiter was, he made us both laugh and made us feel very comfortable. His name was Jordan L, and he definitely needs a raise.
The food was also yummy as always, I’ve never been able to fault the food at any Frankie and Benny’s. You get what you pay for and it hits the spot.
Good place for a yummy italian meal!
The spicy prawn spaghetti that I had ordered was delicious and hot! My boyfriend enjoyed his steak and we had a lovely time over pints of beer. All in all, a good place for quality time, just quite pricey though, so watch your budget! Also, the staff is very polite and patient, so much appreciated!
Excellent food and quick service. We came out fairly late from a film and were met with friendship and a lovely quiet place to sit and discuss the movie. Our waiters were polite, the food was good quality, and the music was excellent.
Excellent staff and food was amazing. Went there for a quick bite before the show, it was busy but we got a table very quick, Angie was our waitress she went an extra mile with her service, very attentive, she made our night. Thank you. Burgers and prawn starter are delicious! 5*
Service was quick until we said we needed a minute. Then 5 minutes passed. Ordered wine and then 5 minutes later collect from bar myself. The Meatballs were more stuffing than meat. However, enjoyed the taste so would go back again. Just need to up their game.
Good food, good service but! Can't order your wine for the meal if you already have ordered a pre-dinner drink!! Company policy! Only one drink at a time. Food arrived way before finished G&T so had to gulp it down so that we could order the wine to have with our meal!!
We are family with 4 kids. Children's menu has great options for different appetites. Adult menu also has a good range. Server was Andre - very nice and helpful with kids' meals. Great experience. We will certainly be back.
Comfortable place to eat. Wait staff were very attentive to our needs. Their meatballs are really good. I had their pie for dessert and it wasn't too rich. Very delicious meal.
We had an amazing meal at Frankie & Benny's. The carbonara was so creamy and full of flavour. It was extra tasty with the chicken option in it. The staff were very pleasant, our server was Manuel and he was very accommodating.
excellent service, food and cocktails
One of the best Frankie and Benny's in which I have been. I went there on the evening of last Sunday before the movies, the food was delicious (and better than other restaurants of the chain, in which the food is not that great) and the waiter (a blonde guy whose name I sadly don't remember) was super nice, efficient and helped us with the salad that we ordered.
