Amazing little place!!
Me and my family have been here a handful of times and we love it!!
*The choice of Ice Creams are fab, some crazy flavours like Jammy dodger(which is highly recommended by myself), Salted Caramel, Sticky Toffee Cheesecake and Peanut Butter Crunch
*The milkshakes are crazy too... Pick any sweet/chocolate from the counter; mix it with your choice of Ice Cream and... Vwalla.. A yummy, creamy milkshake
I recommend just using vanilla ice cream as you sometimes loose the flavour of your chocolate due to overpowering ice cream flavours
*There are Crepes, waffles and Pancakes too.. The Crepe wasn't great as it was very thick but hey ho!
Prices are reasonable too and worth the value for money

Amazing place to go. The range of ice cream flavours is really extensive. I really recommend the fruit salad one! I've also had a nutella crepe here and it was so good. Cheaper than most similar places!

Went in to grab a waffle after getting some blood tests done so I could get sugar into my system. And had a great experience from the server she couldn’t have been more lovely and helpful.
Prior to this a kid had attempted to scare someone walking by Edinburgh university. I happened to be going towards scoopz and the costume shop by st Patrick square and this kid also happened to be going in this direction. He ran into scoopz and I decided to stop and look at the menu before ordering my waffle (which by the way is delicious). After this I left and went to go look at Halloween costumes and left that shop on my way not realising this kid had followed me to the costume shop and was still following me down south side area towards south bridge.
At first I heard a voice shouting about “the south side p*do” language obscured for Google) and thought nothing of it continued on my way. I stopped by Edinburgh bargain stores as they have masks in the window also and as I was looking left noticed the same kid who shouted “how does it feel to touch kids” at me. At this point i decided to return to the store and ask the server if he happened to be her child, she said no. I explained the situation and what had happened prior to her.
However I’d appreciate if scoopz could confirm if he’s in any way associated with the business ie by way of family connection etc. as I forgot to ask that. If so id appreciate a discussion with the owner(s) about this situation to rectify it and get an apology at the very least.
Likely to not return to the business due to that particular experience until things are clarified.
Brilliant service and lovely Nutella ice cream. Halal and vegan available. Served by a lovely friendly American lady. Will come again.
Had a cheesecake and it was amazing. Nice, soft, creamy and chocolaty! It was everything you can ask for. Could have been more options but this one was great anyway.
Still love a good milkshake and scoops is the place to go.
Superb staff, my son and I had delicious ice cream at 3 minutes before closing time at 10.30pm…thank you for that 😊🙏

I love Scoopz as there are an amazing variety of options for someone with a sweet tooth like myself. I was disappointed with the lack of chocolate / toffee ice cream flavours on my last visit. There's usually a Nutella / ferrerro rocher / kinder option but there was only choc chip and tablet on this occasion. I am hoping these flavours had maybe run out that day and will be available on my next visit. Still amazing though

Huge selection of sweets & a dazzling array of ice-cream flavours & ice-cream-based treats.
Lovely stuff. But they could do with stronger spoons - they snap very easily if the ice-cream hasn't gone soft & you're desperately shovelling it out into your willing gob!
Absolutely stuffed...can hardly walk. I'm guessing that's a sign that we enjoyed visiting Scoopz 😆
The ice cream is great and I love the shop
Delicious ice-cream at a no-frills parlour. The bubblegum in particular was just gorgeous (always a personal favourite but this had to be the best I've ever tasted, easily). I also love the lack of pretentiousness and the fact they wear the "ice-cream" label with pride, rather than lying about their produce being authentic Italian gelato like far too many places (I won't use names...)
Will not only be returning but will be telling all my friends to come here!
Nice place for ice creams, sundaes and other desserts. Not busy at all when we went so got served quickly. Would come back if I'm in the area.
This has become one of my favourite places for dessert! So many old school sweets and tasty ice cream.
