Very friendly owners and willing to share their experiences and their knowledge of food and veganism. I found it all very enlightening and probably coming back as they make their own pies and pastries and certain raw desserts! And the cafe itself is quite a relaxed atmosphere~

GrassRoots is an exceptionally friendly, welcoming and fun wee vegan cafe. The coffee is always fantastic and the doughnuts are brilliant. They also have a great stock of other vegan and environmentally-ethical products. Jo and Dean are awesome- GrassRoots is awesome. A must try for vegans in search
This is a great vegan cafe. Very tasty meals, cooked and raw options. The staff are really friendly, they seem very passionate and knowledgeable about plant based diets and have interesting conversations about it.
Newly opened completely vegan shop. This place has a good selection of lunches with sandwiches, pies, and other homemade foods. As well as a number of donuts, biscuits, and raw cakes.
Grassroots also sells a range of wholefoods and vegan produce.
That owners are very friendly and helpful.
I absolutely love this place and it is currently my favourite vegan place in Edinburgh! I've been here many times and every time the food has been amazing. Today i tired the falafel wrap with spicy sause and it was simply delicious. The food is great quality, very yummy and the prices are very good.
Super friendly cafe. I had a delicious gluten free raw food cake with some intriguing (and tasty) Cream of Earl Grey tea. Bright, welcoming atmosphere and a very convenient place to stop when in Tollcross.
