We had the soup of the day and Steak pie watched cup final they have booths with TV would recommend this place to everyone staff very nice and helpful
Absolute fantastic place to go! The food is second to none and clearly homemade and the price of food and drink is excellent compared to other places. The service is the by far some of the best service I have seen in a pub, it’s fast and the people are very kind and welcoming, going as far as on my second trip there gifting me with a £5 voucher for my next visit. I was staying in the local hotel and it’s only a 15 minute walk there or a 5 minute drive which when it’s compared to the price of the hotel food and drink makes it a well worth journey. 100% recommended by myself!
So sad to hear that they have stopped serving food apart from bar nibbles.

Came for lunch with family and although there was a bit of a wait (chef's first day, so understandable) food was lovely and there was plenty to choose from. Waitress was very nice too. We'll be back😁well worth a visit.
Went for a family meal for daughters 11th birthday . Staff made her feel like a Princess and could not help enough accommodating for 2 wheelchairs. Food was amazing. Will definitely be back.

A great local pub with a selection of craft beer as well as the standard pub choices on offer. Reasonably priced food is served throughout the day. The staff are friendly, if you want to pay by card there is a £10 minimum but they do offer cashback or there is a cash machine at the coop outside. The interior is inviting with plenty of seating, worth a visit if your in the area.
Amazing service from Yvonne, she was amazing with the kids who did start to get a little rowdy a total gem of a woman.
Food was amazing too macaroni chips omg sooo good and haggis bites with the plum sauce a must try
Always a pleasure to have lunch here. Staff friendly and good service, particularly baked potatoes and sndwiches. If you don't have much time.
Parking at the side is a bonus too.
