I have used M&S for years usually for my weekly food shop. However, I have found that since the Covid-19 outbreak that prices have jumped considerably in M&S. This is a great store situated in Princes Street near to Waverly Rail Station. It has floors dedicated to clothing for men and women. There is a food hall and large cafeteria. Lifts and escalators serve the four floors. Toilets can be found on the basement level as can the order and collect counter.

Since lockdown restrictions have been relaxed it doesn't feel as safe to shop here. The one way system is compromised. Previously you had a clear route to get to the food court in the basement but now you have to dodge clothing racks and shoppers looking and touching clothing. There also it's tight

People have been very well behaved in M&S with social distancing, masks and generally being polite and helpful. One of the least stressful places to visit currently, imho. Cafe has screens between tables so masks can be removed and at the counters. Hand sanitizer is also available at store and ca
