It’s best here to sip the coffee while it’s sunny outside, as the sunlight draws into the glasses of the building.
Lovely place in the heart of the Quartermile! I love it for Mazarin a little Swedish marzipan pastry, sooo good. Pizza is great as well but opening times are weird and seems to constantly change.
Aesthetically, this place is great. I love the large windows and the wooden table set out. Loads of natural light and space.
Good menu with just enough pizza choices and a good selection of desert for those with a sweet tooth.
We had a margherita and shared it between 3. Usually they run a deal whereby you can order 2 slices for £3, however they don't run it during the festival. Dissaponting as they still advertise this. On a positive note, pizza are log fired and taste absolutely brilliant!
Staff were friendly and prompt when we asked for the bill. A great place to take friends for casual lunch/dinner.
This place is a little tricky to find tucked away as it is in the quartermile but it's worth seeking out. Nice, unfussy Scandi chic is teamed with a quiet location to create a peaceful dining experience. The staff could have been a little more attentive but they were friendly enough once I got their attention. I had the anchovies pizza (hold the capers) with a glass of rosé whilr my companion opted for smoked feta and aubergine with a glass of red. The food was absolutely delicious, I'm still dreaming of that pizza 12 hours later. Light, crispy base with just the right mix of crisp and chew. Even topping with melt in the mouth anchovies. In short, if you love pizza give this place a try.

I had been meaning to try Soderberg since it opened earlier this year. Soderberg creates its own sourdough and uses it to make some delicious food. Their speciality for the evening service is pizza (which can be bought by the slice at lunch). Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly waiter. He said I could sit myself outside and he would bring me a menu. The outside seating is very relaxed and is in a nice little square hidden within the Quartermile complex. I ordered an apple juice, which was solely pressed apples. It was absolutely delicious and perfectly refreshing. I plumped for the asparagus and hollandaise pizza.
I had never had a sourdough pizza before but I am sold. The base was thin, light and crispy and not doughy in the slightest. It worked very well as a base. The asparagus was full of flavour and was complimented by the zingy hollandaise, which was lightly drizzled onto the pizza rather than used as a base sauce. There were also melted pieces of mozzarella scattered across the pizza so the cheese element was not lost. Also, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, the pizza was of a generous size. I only just managed to finish it and felt satisfyingly full afterwards.
This place was welcoming, the staff were friendly and helpful and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable that I was dining alone. I will be coming back again so I can work my way through the menu.
Delicious food and drinks. It is a little pricey but the quality and taste of the food makes up for it. Would really recommend the omelette and waffles!

Lovely indy coffee shop with amazing cinnamon buns and pizzas - according to my husband.
Unfortunately, I can't have gluten or dairy, but the staff make every effort to accommodate me. Between us, they always come up with something tasty. Super friendly staff and speedy service. Dog friendly outside only.
If only they had gluten free dough for their pizzas and cinnamon buns, it would be epic!!!

This menu is incredible, would be perfect for a date. Especially love the cocktails selection. Staff were super friendly and made me feel happy and welcomed. My flatmate ordered a flat white and a bun and I ordered a ginger ale and a Kladkakka (Swedish chocolate cake). All 10/10! Lovely experience, recommend for a date, friend date or just a coffee!

My first time visiting the Söderberg and they do nice coffee and cake and it's a very well presented place with friendly staff and nice cake. My son rated his cinnamon bun an 8 out of 10. My coffee and chocolate ball (chopped up by myself) were very nice.
Such a great and cozy cafe. Everything is excellent. Definitely get the cardamom and cinnamon rolls.
Server was very nice, the atmosphere is lovely, but the chairs aren’t very comfortable.

I only came for a coffee and bun but was tempted by the meatballs. Delicious! Cozy atmosphere, especially in the evening. If I was staying longer in Edinburgh I would of come again. If you like Swedish food you'll love this.

Food was great, and the drinks were delicious - fresh, homemade juices. We sat outside in the sun, and received great table service from the stuff. If you're in Quartermile, this is a great place to stop for a quick snack
Love this place - great venue and lovely outside seating bit for when the sun comes out, otherwise you feel very cosy sitting inside looking out through the walls of windows. The sourdough pizzas are amazing, the coffee is great, and they always have a wonderful selection of baking to tempt you to stay longer. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful as well, although I haven't been in the last few weeks so can't comment on how it might have changed like other reviewers have mentioned.
