Good value for tasty food. Could use more greens and thin sliced meat for a more authentic experience. Fish cakes a bit chewy but good. Very good service.
Really nice Thai/ Malay style cafe. Staff were super - really attentive and helpful without interrupting our chat. Pad Thai was fresh and fragrant and shin beef noodle soup was perfectly full of flavour yet clean and sharp. Lovely high chairs and space for buggies. Love it here and will definitely b
A very affordable Japanese cafe in a quaint area of central Edinburgh. Service was excellent and there is a very relaxed atmosphere in the place with modern decor. I went in for lunch and I think it maybe is a better lunch place rather than a dinner restaurant but haven't been in at night so can't
Really yummy food. Cute place, fun vibe, friendly staff. Prices were average, maybe a bit high. There were small plates that were nice for appetizers. Only complaint is that the ice cream cake takes a long time because they have to let it thaw, which they did not warn us about.
Best takeaway Pad Thai I've had. Too often dishes like Pad Thai arrive home in a bit of a stodge. This was fresh, aromatic and visually appealing. First time we went they had gone a bit heavy handed with the fish sauce which was a bit disappointing. Second time we went I asked for less fish sauce an
It's a small but clean. The waiting time was insanely short. Both my friend and I ordered a tofu pad thai for takeaway and the taste was great. However i'd say the portion was a bit small for the price!
I like Saikō. It's a cosy little place serving no-nonsense oriental food of perfectly good quality, quickly and reasonably priced. In my few, recent visits I never found it full or noisy. Waiters are nice and smily. Ideal for impromptu dinners when u don't feel like cooking, for a chat with a friend
Something a little different from the cafes of Marchmont, I was super excited to see this new Vietnamese fast food restaurant. The decor is fresh and trendy and though, the menu isn't huge, there's an interesting selection of dishes and the prices are just right. We tried the tofu banh mi which had
The tofu banh mi was great. The chips were well seasoned (spicy!) But a tad too salty. They had a really nice high chair for the little one as well 😊
Great food that tastes and looks fresh. The chicken noodles bowl soup is just great. And service is friendly. Ate here 3 times in 3 days.
I love it, it's great. The food is tasty, they have vegan and vegetarian options, as well as meat. It's always quiet at lunchtime. I love the iced coffee.
Had an excellent Pad Thai here, friendly and helpful food, lots of gluten-free and vegan options, as well as meat dishes. Dog-friendly.
Delicious. Fast. Fresh. Would recommend!
Had some lovely Japanese style curry, breaded chicken, and Thai style noodles. Not really authentic food but delicious nonetheless.
Very friendly staff, serving good food at reasonable prices. They are dog friendly too. Definitely going to recommend them to friends.
A little pricy but totally worth it! The Bhan Mi are killer and go perfectly with a Vietnamese iced coffee. Would recommend.
Absolutely amazing Pad Thai, definitely my go to dish when I'm there. Great place to grab a quick bite for lunch.
Brilliant Food, expertly cooked and great service - and all very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
