The pork is good but the pork with chili sauce is good. I wish there’s more sauce. Anyway, it’s good with this price. Bread is warm and cooked when ordered. Restaurant itself had no toilet.

Didn't sit in, so can't comment on atmosphere per say however despite seeming a little pricey at first the bread roll was generously filled and the meat juicy, tender and packed with flavour. We had the medium option on the menu which was more than filling enough, and chose the traditional sage and onion and apple sauce accompaniment on to our meat. The queue was stretched out the door showing the popularity of the food here. The menu is simple with one type of filling alongside multiple accompanying sauces and a haggis or sage and onion option to compliment the exquisitely cooked pork. Simplicity in the menu seems to be key here in order to pay all attention to the star of the show ingredient. Would highly recommend.

Simplistic and delicious. You get to personalise everything, including the bread, stuffing and sauce. Mine was full of flavourful pulled pork, haggis and apple sauce. Will definitely be back for more! 😋

omg, this sandwich isn't just a sandwich. it's heaven 😻 I picked an option which is definitely "Scotland in your mouth", it's such a pity you cannot order it for dinner, but it's so good that I might consider ordering it in the afternoon and heating it for dinner, it would still be awesome! I might even order it again today, it was too good, I should have picked the big size (got a medium one as first time for me) 😅 good job guys! p.s and the shortbread...?? awww...oink oink 😍

I had the regular hog with sides of onion and sage with apple sauce. The hog is nice and soft and goes so well with the apple sauce. Plus point : they have no carbs version!

A must when visiting Edinburgh. The taste of the pork and bread is fantastic. Prices are super reasonable. If you want a quick a delicious bite you should stop here. The service is great. It gets crowded during lunch time and dinner but it is worth the wait if you enjoy shredded pork in a bun.

Simply pulled delicious roasted pork from the best farms. You can add tasty sauces such as spicy creamy cheese, haggis, sweet apple and something else I can't remember right now (sorry) and have a cold or hot drink. They had a very special beer which I can't, again, remember the name, but I do remember the feeling it gave me from the first sip till the last. Pretty good place with affordable prices. It was so good that I ate 2 rolls of that greasy and juicy pulled hog roast in a stroke of savage gluttony. Loved it.

Oh my goodness what a spot! Food is amazing here. The pork scratching is amazing and the home made sauces are so good. Genuinely skip the pizza hut beside it and give this place a try. Good portions and alcohol available

I mean, it’s a hog roast, if you enjoy pork and crackling then it’s the perfect spot!
