Clamshell - Edinburgh - Photo album

If you are looking for the perfect deep-fried Mars bar on the Royal Mile then look no further. Here you can see the Mars bar being opened from the packet and then deep-fried in front of your eyes. It simply wouldn't be the same from a restaurant. And on top of that you get two scoops of complementar
Had a big order so had to wait 10mins but it was worth it, everything was made fresh and was seasoned very well! Big portion for the price keeping in mind it’s in Edinburgh on The Royal Mile
What a great place , we were visiting The city and came across this great place 💯 The fish was really tasty plus we also got fried snickers bar which was really unique 10/10
This place is situated in a perfect location in the old Town. We wanted to try the fried Mars bar, which was really tasty but overpriced around £5+ each for a small Mars bar. We then ordered the fish and chips. Honestly, I was in to minds when I sore it sitting there in the hot cabinet but I order
shocked how anyone can give Clam Shell anything but five stars. Asked a local of the best fish and chips in Edinburgh and she said without hesitation Clam Shell. The fish and chips were the best ever and that includes my travels all over Europe and the USA.
I just got the fried mars bar and now I am addicted to it. So good and not a terrible price. You can get it with ice cream as well. Was served in less than 5 minutes
Very nice service and awesome food!!! The fish & chips, sea food plater, and haggis was delicious!!! Would definitely come back again!
£7.50 for absolutely delicious haggis and chips on the royal mile!
The fish and chips are honestly the best I’ve had in the UK! So yummm! Fish is nice and succulent and chips are nice and thickkkkk 😍
Friendly Service, Recommended; Family owned & operated.

This chippie is a favourite of my partners so obviously l had to give it a try and it didn't disappoint, the fish was a good size and you get a generous portion of chips the food isn't greasy and doesn't leave that lingering taste at the top of your mouth that l find from a lot of chippies these day
Decent fried seafood platter for a late dinner
I've been going there long before I moved here five years ago. It's got an amazing reputation and still holds. My friend from Ireland even heard about it, it's that good. Love them all there, although I don't use it as much because I live around the corner from it now. Go though. It's fantastic.
