After the opening of Tram, now we can commute to Leith more comfortably,
Rock salt proudly provides breakfast menu.
The cafe is spacious with wooden floor mixed with the historical vibe.
Vegan full breakfast maintain the proper breakfast. The vegan sausage is mediocre but ham is literally gorgeous.
Great place for Sunday Brunch. A really excellent menu with a wide range of choices for everyone. Pastries, chocolate cakes, lemon poppy cake, breakfast rolls, french toast... the list goes on. Good attentive staff. The only let-down is the toilets - they could do with being modernised.
Really great breakfast (great gluten free bread) with properly poached eggs and good coffee. I'll definitely be back.
I went for lunch with a friend while in Leith, first time back there in a couple of years, so delighted to see it still thriving. The setting is great and we got a window seat which was ideal. A big (almost too big) selection of food. Really great quality of food, with the best ever selection of tra
So lovely to have this place back after all the tram works. The food is fresh and tastes incredible. Service is easy, friendly and with a smile. It's dog friendly too. Massive high recommendation.
Great lunch options, with plenty to choose from. The menu offers a good range of dishes, with something for everyone, and the quality of the food is generally very good. However, one area where the restaurant falls short is its desserts - they tend to be on the heavy side, which can be a bit overwhe
Great place! I’ve just finished this beautiful chicken benedict for breakfast and it was so yummy :) They have a great menu choice and nice atmosphere. This one relaxing hour for myself was exactly what I needed being a mum waiting for my son to finish his settling in session in nursery :)
Drinks were very nice, hot chocolate might have been one of the best hot chocolates I have ever had.
And they made a Teddy bear face on the latte which made my day 🤣 will definitely be back!!! Staff were nice too!
Nice spot with a huge range of breakfast options. If avo toast us your thing this is the place as they have a dedicated section on the menu full of different avo toasts 🥑 Service was friendly and fast and the food was very good. They were very accommodating of our large group (8 people) and moved ta
Excellent place! My cappuccino was beautiful and I had the chorizo and manchego sandwich toasted and it came with salad and coleslaw and crisps, all for under £10. The staff were friendly and the building is so pretty. I will definitely be back.
Nice breakfast spot near us. Loved watching the team and pedestrians as we eat and sipped coffee. Order the Haggis Roll. I enjoyed it!
Very classy restaurant / cafe with a atrong turkish influence. The food was great and the service professional. A real family establishment and the quality and personal touch was obvious.

An alright eatery for breakfast and lunch. Their coffee and tea are generally food. So is the savory food, sandwiches, full breakfast and morning rolls are all not bad. I'm not a fan of their sweets though. All the times I've tried various cakes brownies and baklava it was not more than 3/5. Hence m
The eggs florentine is the best I’ve ever had. Unlike others I have they use quality spinach. Having lived in Italy the quality of vegetables matters to me a lot. I try not to go here for coffee alone because I will be tempted to order it and fail my diet! However I’m at a loss anyway because they
Excellent food with a varied menu with good coffee plus a large selection of homemade cakes and buns.
Well worth a visit and great value for money.
What an absolute gem of an establishment! Incredibly friendly staff in a beautifully well lit venue. This is my favourite place to bring visiting friends and family as you know it's going to be well presented and comfy. You should try the Nutella mocha!
