St Andrew's And St George's West Undercroft Cafe Edinburgh - Edinburgh - Photo album

People running the cafe are absolutely lovely and make you feel at home. It feels like a small family. Will definitely come back whilst I live here in Edinburgh. Prices are significantly lower than the average.
Get away from the tourists and The Royal Mile to this community operated cafe in the basement of St Andrew and St George's West Church on George Street. The vegetable soup was excellent, the service was considerate and chatty but get in early for daily special scones. I missed out on the rhubarb and
3 x OAP's, and we had lovely tea/coffee and fresh scones. Lovely staff. Great service. Nice customers. We visit irregularly and have never been disappointed.
The cafe is located inside a church downstairs, I was expecting a quirky one but it is a lovely simple place with volunteers to run it. The homemade scones are amazing and the coffee was nice and it is very cheap for Edinburgh standards!
Wonderful raspberry scones (today's special) and excellent coffee! I had the most heavenly americano with an extra shot of espresso. A very nice way to start the day. Friendly and sweet staff.
This is my favourite cafe for a quick lunch in the city centre. Good quality no nonsense food at reasonable prices.. Add to that.. great fast service from some nice friendly staff. Incidentally, It's probably a good option if you have a young child in tow! Highly Recommended!
Just very good homemade food with Freindly staff.
Lovely place! Everything was perfect, the scones are just to die for, it’s heart warming! Highly recommend it!! Worth the stop :)
Feels a bit like having coffee after Sunday mass, but don't let that stop you. Tea and crumpets were amazing. And the proceeds go to worthy causes.
Wonderful staff are very welcoming and attentive. Soup was brilliant and scones lovely
