A few months ago, my partner purchased me an afternoon tea here as a present. And it was a delight. The cake were sublime, scones were morish and even the sandwiches felt special. The staff were helpful and friendly. A real treat! Thank you
Lovely pastries and very kind staff. I find it unfortunate that the menu displays caloric value as I don’t need numbers that often create an unhealthy relationship with food attached to something I want to enjoy. Would definitely come back again though.
We had a Buyagift voucher for afternoon tea. Tried to use it a few months ago but the manager said they had 2 people in for afternoon tea already and couldn't manage any more! He was rude and unwelcoming. Today we went back to try again and were warmly welcomed by a different man who could not have
Visited with my family of 6 with Groupon vouchers for cream tea. Staff were excellent. Scones and coffee / hot chocolate was all great. Service was polite and friendly, they cleared a lovely window seat for us. Really enjoyed our visit and highly recommend (especially as our visit coincided with a d
We were given a Buyagift voucher for an afternoon tea here. You visit the Buyagift website and fill in your details. There was no need to book a table as it's walk-in to get a table, so be prepared to wait if it's busy. Luckily, on our visit, we got a table without waiting. We ordered our drinks, la
Had afternoon tea here, the cakes were definitely the highlight - delicious!
Had afternoon tea here today and the food was excellent 100% better than last time we went x the staff are great friendly and helpful x I’ll definitely be back oh and the macaroons are awesome 👏
We had a Buy-a-Gift voucher for afternoon tea which we used here today. The cafe was quite busy but we had called in at the right time and got a table straightaway. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our drinks and food arrived quickly. I'd requested vegetarian sandwiches and overall these were ok
Had a Groupon deal for a coffee and cake as a little treat to myself on my recent solo trip to Edinburgh. This charming little coffee shop is tucked away behind Princes Street. The staff (an older gentleman and a young guy) were both very nice and offered table service. It was so hard to choose a ca
Staff were extremely friendly and polite. Food was nice but not quite the expected serving portions compared to the list of named breakfast items on the menu. As mentioned in another customer’s review, there was boxes all over the floor that had to be avoided when trying to access the toilet (which
Has a lovely visit to the Rose Street branch & the staff could not have been more helpful. Ricardo looked after us so well and we didn’t have long to wait for anything, despite it being quite busy. Everything was delicious - great variety of sandwiches & cakes. Couldn’t fault it.
Such an amazing little place. I immediately fell in love with the ambience. The desserts are amazing! I cannot get enough of their hot chocolate!! So creamy yet rich but not overpowering. Their chocolate eclair was amazing and not overpoweringly sweet.
Ordered the ice cream cone birthday cake, arrived exactly as described, received frozen. Thoughed out beautifully for birthday next day. Cake was delicious, enjoyed by everyone. Have ordered previously, other cakes, will continue in future.
Excellent place! For those unaware, it's not just pastries. They have sandwiches and other food. We got the Afternoon tea for two and there was plenty of food for us to eat. Everything tasted great and the staff were really nice. Highly recommend this place.
