I visited here with my friend on the recommendation of a friend, we were not disappointed, although we did almost miss it as we walked passed it.

The staff were very helpful welcoming and friendly, exactly what we needed on a very cold and wet Saturday night.

The food was great and very tasty, one of the best chicken tikka masalas that I have had in a long time.

If we are in the area again we would definitely go back.

A quintessential Indian restaurant , with a subtle and lovely décor . Went there for a birthday treat . Nice , cosy and warm environment ..
We ordered lamb rogan josh , prawn curry , chicken pakora , pilau rice and Madras chicken... It was all very delicious. Service was also very quick ...
But, the warm and friendly behaviour, from the staffs to it's owner ,was the real " icing on the cake . " ☺.
Overall , had a lovely evening . Would love to visit it again .😃

Excellent food. Friendly staff delivering excellent service. Sizzling chicken tika was excellent and the veg curries (Rogan Josh and Dopiaza) very tasty. Naan to die for!

Lovely Indian lunch for two here with additional social distancing barriers and processes in place like paper menu. All food was tasty and good portions with spicy curries but not mouth burning. We had poppadoms, starters and mains with two rounds of drinks totalling £45 then minus the £20 government discount. Have only given 4:stars as the restaurant is tired and could do with a redecoration but this did not detract us from the good food. 😁

Had a lovely meal here for our anniversary- had a lovely window seat, watching the world go by - food was superb - chicken madras for the hubby, and I'm vegetarian so had a veg dhansak - we had starters too. Great service, great . meal friendly staff, we sat for ages and had an extra bottle of wine! Highly recommended.

The best Indian food I have had by far! And I have had many, both in restaurants and home cooked. Its a shame they don’t have a branch near where I live. I can’t recommend this place enough. The portions were amazing too and the staff and owner are very welcoming and friendly. A must try if you are ever in Edinburgh and love Indian food.

Just moved to west side of town so was looking for a new curry house. Eastern Pavilion did not disappoint. Set meal for 2 very reasonably priced, plenty food and very tasty. Restaurant is a little tired looking, but friendly owner made up for it. Will order again.

Very tasty food. Staff is very friendly and does not keep you waiting. It's a bit more expensive than one would expect from an Indian restaurant, but it's worth the price.

Yep, very good. Cosy and friendly, doesn't look that special from the outside but a great selection and recommend the lamb khori. Dropped back after three years to give it another go. I was not disappointed. Inside is still cosy and friendly and the menu has some interesting specialities. It's a fairly short walk from the zoo and Holiday Inn, enough to whisk up an appetite.
