Mughal Indian Restaurant & Takeaway - Edinburgh - Photo album

It may not look like much from the outside but this small Indian restaurant is worth a visit if you like Indian food as much as I do. Their curries are lovely (thoroughly enjoyed my chicken tikka masala) and customer service is fast and good. Prices are ok too.
I have come twice in this restaurant. Both times the service was really good (exceptional the last time), the food was very tasty and occasionally there was the option to be more accommodating to customer's likings. It is handy going with your alcohol (BYOB). I haven't tried the dessert but the star
It was really tasty and hot food. Bread was ok. But kebab were really great!
It's a new restaurant so still waiting for an alcohol license. Therefore bring your own bottle - which is fine. The service was very fast and delivered hot. The food was not just spicy or hot, there was depth to the flavours. Excellent value and friendly service.
Underrated restaurant. Very friendly staff, even whipped up an aubergine dish that wasn't on the menu. The £1 poppadoms are a great starter and the serving sizes are great (especially the biyrani, which had plenty of lamb).
Good food. Decent price, especially for Edinburgh. Food comes piping hot. Had a period of ordering every couple weeks for a while and they recognised me and threw in some free poppadoms when I ordered regularly. Friendly drivers and also on the phone.
No parking space available but must be a good one for team lunches and dates 😉😍
I order from this place all the time. Easily the best Indian food that I have found in Edinburgh. Delivery is always prompt, and the food is absolutely delicious. I will definitely keep ordering. I recommend this place highly.
Despite appearances, this place does some seriously good food. recommended. Just don't take your missus there for date night. You'll not be in her good books. Perfect for a night out with the boys though.
Mughal looks a but rough but don't be fooled. The curry is excellent and well priced, the naan bread is fresh and delicious and the staff and friendly and very accommodating.
Lovely food and service, if a bit expensive. No corkage fee is great, too. I must repeat the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Nice wee place to have a cheap lunch. £7.95 for a starter, main (with nan or rice), ice cream or tea and coffee to finish. The food was very good.
Food was very tasty. Asked for extra spice and was really nice, not overpowered with the heat factor. Nice quick service
Delicious meal, excellent service and superb value for money. Already booked up to go back. Highly recommended....
