It has been sometime since I visited this local restaurant and when I received an e-mail saying they had updated menu I thought I would give it a try. They also do a two for the price of one offer for Tastecard holders, dependent on which day you choose, so we would get a discount on bill. I had njuda sausage garlic bread to start. It was a large portion but really enjoyable. I followed this with tagliatelle with a beef and venison ragu and mozzarella. Again very tasty. Natalie had vegetable soup followed by spicy chicken pizza with salad and finished the lot. Nice food and efficient, friendly service and I will definitely be returning

Great food. Good professional service. Though friendliness is a concern. Good place to view the sunset and have your dinner overlooking the North Sea.

As far as chains go, this was actually really good.
Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu.
We opted for the primavera rustica pizza, loaded with veg as we were starving. The size is brilliant if your really needing a good feed.
Waiting times were reasonable and left us good time to just enjoy being there.
Only small downside was the desert. The toffee and chocolate sundae was small for the price you paid, and the chocolate ice cream verged on tasteless.

When entering the restaurant, we did wait a while to be taken to the seating area. We ordered drinks and caramelised onion garlic bread. It was piping hot, it wasn't overly 'garlicy'. The pizza that I ordered wasn't very hot. It was delicious! I also got a side salad without the tomato, I would say the amount was pretty small. I would have liked more considering the size of the pizza. The downside to Zizzi's in Leith is that the toilet is way way out of the way!!! I enjoyed it, would come again but only for convenience as the cinema in close by! The service was good- it was fair!

I had an early dinner here after a short roller skating adventure nearby. It was a Friday at 16:15 and the restaurant was very quiet. We had a starter each then a main. I had two large glasses of a nice New Zealand Sauvignon blanc. My friend had a soft drink and she ordered from the vegan menu. Food was lovely and the service was good. A lovely open view here of the quay area. Total bill was approx £74 plus a tip. It would be cheaper without drinks. All round would recommend.

Large selection of pizza, pasta and sides. Desserts were also decent. Food is well-presented. Lovely and attentive staff that provided quick service. The place is very spacious, surrounded by glass windows so you can enjoy the beautiful view. There’s also outdoor seating so if the weather’s ever good enough - it’s an option.

Fantastic pizza! Very great crust and friendly service! It was a pretty reasonable price given how big the pizzas are! They are huge! Wish there was one in America!

Had a really good time but seemed to be pretty understaffed and staff seemed run off their feet, they were absolutely lovely though and smiled through it. Food was good, calamari was very anemic and not crispy, ordered one gf and one non-gf pizza and was given 2 gf pizzas but in fairness they were very good gf pizzas for a chain.

Arancini balls for starter and Veggi v Veggi pizza selected. Starter OK - probably would not select this again. Pizza - Really enjoyed it and fairly large serving. Each half topped with different toppings. Overall very satisfying. Service could have been better - need more customer focus.

The food is pretty reasonable for the price especially if you have voucher or discount codes, It's not brilliant, but it's a chain restaurant trying to keep prices down and it's tasty enough to leave you feeling happy & full and not feeling ripped off. Like almost everywhere I eat, service is friendly & really attentive - until it comes time to trying to get the bill. Suddenly absolutely no-one seems to look your way or come near your table. It might just be me, but I think I acquire the power of invisibility once I feel full & ready to leave. The atmosphere is totally lacking at Zizzi Ocean Terminal though, which is unsurprising given that it's in a very large, open area in a 3/4-empty shopping centre and totally open to the floors above. It feels like eating in a massive hanger, and the noise can be off-putting especially if you have sensory issues where too much noise can be totally overwhelming. Overall, it's a decent-enough place for Italian-style food, but barn-like, noisy and not somewhere you'd really want to linger too long once you're finished.

Excellent service from start to finish. The free Pasta crisps were amazing as well as our starters and main courses. Highly recommended.

Overall I had a good experience. The food was good. Even the service was great. I don't know why people have given less ratings.

Went here on Thursday afternoon, wasn't too busy. The staff were great and very attentive, and the view of the Britannia yacht and Firth of Forth were ideal.
