Very nice Cafe, the seating is really nice and spacious.
The food was nice, recommend the French toast with Nutella & hazelnut.
The staff were nice and helpful, they were happy to change and modify my order for free.
However we asked for table water 2-3 times and kept getting ignored and never got the water, we ended up just leaving.
Overall the experience was good.
The best scones I ever had! Love the ambience and the food and coffee are incredible. Already planning on stopping here before I get my train in the morning. The staff was super friendly and the whole vibes it’s just so cozy and amazing! Recommend if you are looking for a good cup of coffee and a fresh scone! Price was reasonable too!

It's such a cute little place and right across from Waverley station. So handy! Definitely recommended.
What a winner! I love this place. Popped in after hiking Arthur's Seat and had a scrumptious and tasty lunch of a half sandwich of Apple wood smoked cheddar and Isle of Arran onion chutney, a small bowl of lentil and corn chili, and a chocolatey fudge brownie. Unfortunately, I was almost finished with the brownie before I realized I had failed to get a picture. I'll return before departing Edinburgh!
Arrived after a long railway journey from Cheshire. It was Sunday afternoon and very busy. The decor is very impressive from the outside which is what drew us inn. On entering the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. All the cakes etc were displayed behind glass in a spotless environment. The tables were very clean and had a marble top. Seats were comfortable ,roomy and you could hang your coat on the back without it falling on the floor. We placed our order at the till and it was bought to our table in good time. My scone was delicious with home made Jam and butter. My husband had the chocolate and raspberry Brownie which he thoroughly enjoyed. My coffee was lovely, good strong taste but no bitterness. There is a choice of milks and milk alternatives including oat and soya.The tea my husband drank was very good. The staff were well presented and friendly . The service was warm,welcoming and timely. I would thoroughly recommend a visit .
We had cappuccio, scone bread and banana bread. They were both freshly baked and the staff is friendly.
We stopped in at Mimi’s after a long day of exploring on the Royal Mile. We shared a scone with cream and jam plus an Oreo brownie which were both so delicious! The place was super popular but we were fortunate on getting a table overlooking the road which made it a perfect people watching place.

We had a vanilla cupcake, raspberry bar, and tea, and all of it was delicious. Shop was cute and service was also good. Plus I was able to plug in my charger and go to the bathroom.
It was reccomended we visited Mimi's the next time we were in Edinburgh. We weren't around for long but managed to nip in and grab a couple of sweet treats to take away with us. Inside, it's really nicely designed and is spacious yet cosy. The food is well presented and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Our bakes came nicely presented in a lovely little takeout box - they weren't too expensive and they were delicious. We didn't end up eating them until the drive back and I'm sad we didn't do it earlier, because we'd have certainly bought more.
Great place. Can't wait to go back. Definitely worth a visit.
We decided to stop in to Mimi's for an afternoon pick me up. We decided to try the sticky pudding cupcakes. They were delicious! The service was great as was the location.

Love their cozy and friendly atmosphere! The place was kind of under renovation when I was there in April 2019, but the hospitality outshines the outlook. Breakfast food was great, although I wish lunch was also in the menu for the time of the day I was there. Everything sounded amazing!
Also bought back their gigantic pieces of fudge. Awesome sweet for the price and size! Wish there was more time to explore the menu:)
I instantly fell in love with the atmosphere and the cute decor in here, and the staff were lovely and very welcoming of us and our puppy - can’t fault a dog friendly cafe! The food was SO tasty, actually better than the cake, surprisingly - I highly recommend the Turkish eggs and the Nutella mocha. Will be returning whenever I’m in Edinburgh :)
This is an amazing cafe lots of nice food and great drinks. Massive fruit scones and I have to say the liscoff caramel cake with chocolate on top was delicious. Come on in and have a look. The atmosphere is buzzing with people always busy especially when the edinburgh fringe is on.

another cafe earlier as was told no tables and offered to wait ,nope ,don't think they were interested ,so came here and the owner was singing to the tunes ,super friendly as was the young woman that originally served me.lovely cakes ,could have gone for any one of them but had the bounty choc brownie and had some pots tea.had I had more loose change would have given them more of a tip..took two pumpkin scones away and to be honest wished I took a few more next time I'm here this is number one on my list .not a lot of seating room unfortunately but what a lovely ,cosy ,friendly and fantastic cafe five stars from Ritchie *****
Delicious bacon roll, wonderful coffee and grabbed a scone to go that ended up being the best I’ve had.
Convenient, adorable and with the art space attached, the perfect place to spend time before a train. ALSO!! They have these black velvet couches in a little sitting area that are so perfectly bougie, I need 12. Or at least one. Also comfy.
