Redcoat Cafe At Edinburgh Castle - Edinburgh - Photo album

A typical cafe offering food and drinks. They serve inside - what a great view of the city, but with an unpleasant smell (at least it was when I visited) and also have a few tables outside. ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘ The cafe is quite spacious and offers a wide variety of dishes. The members of the staff were nice and k
This is the only place you can buy foods and drink at the castle premises. Atmosphere is good, you can have table inside or outside well. You can use washrooms, but you need to get down for the washrooms ( use stairs behind the cafe). Friendly staff. I had a cappuccino ,but that was not good.
I had a wonderful lunch here for a more than fair price. The cafe was clean and the staff was very friendly. They have a nice selection of mains, pizza, cakes and other baked goods and drinks. The views from the windows are very nice. It is a good place to begin or end your trip to the castle or per
After seeing the castle we were hungry and stopped in the cafe for lunch. Had arrived 15 minutes before they started serving hot food. We waited then ordrred the chicken and mushroom pot pie and the fish dish with side dishes. All food was very good with large portions. Nice find.
It's a cafe that serves food. It's really not all that special however it's affordable and on edinburgh castle grounds. Stop in and eat before you start your journey, lots of hills and stairs you'll need your energy.
The Cafe is having a lot of options to suit everyone tastebuds. The staff behavior is good specially Ben who was kind enough with serving us.
The soup is good especially on a rainy day. The lady at the food service is nice but the cashier guy, David C, kept talking with his colleague and even didn't bother to look at me until I asked to pay with card. Please respect the customers when working and respond to their greeting at least by look
Surprisingly good for a cafe inside an attraction, we were impressed.
Itโ€™s a big place with a lot of tables and good hot food, I was lucky and got my pizza from the furnace. Of course itโ€™s not cheap
The views when you manage to get a window seat is spectacular ! It is on the busy side with long queues however it gave us the opportunity to get a seat!
For a restaurant inside such an old castle it's really big. They have plenty of food and drink options. Go and have a bite here when you visit the castle
Nice wee cafe in the grounds of the castle. It's a good pit stop whilst touring the grounds.
Prices are okay and staff is friendly. A bit crowded and loud and it feels a bit cantine like, however for just a small cafe within an attraction totally fine :)
Good portions, prices were reasonable, food was tasty, a bit confusing on what to do when u get there and paying could be better, how ever overall still good
