Hendersons Salad Table Restaurant - Edinburgh - Photo album

This is a very nice, top vegan restaurant that will not dissapoint! We ate full vegan & vegetarian breakfast that lasted us for many hours, we even skipped lunch that day, and in the evening we shared nut rolls as a starter, and had Mediterranean pasta and Summer bowl for mains. The pasta was on a
Literally the best meal I've had from a vegan restaurant! The wine was super and I took my non vegan friend. He said it was the best meal he had in a long time. Was so worried we weren't going to get a table, as we didn't book. They managed to find a table for us. I was blown away. The cheese cake s
✓ All Vegetarian with Vegan Options The restaurant is downstairs, the one on the upper level is more of a deli and grab & go shop. I was here for breakfast and had the Vegan Pancakes [£6.95] with blueberries, bananas & maple syrup. It was more of the thick American style pancakes, but not that fluf
I can't say enough about the food here but I'll try... We had as much as we could because it was so incredibly good! From taste to presentation I was really impressed. Service was great and and we didn't wait to sit. (But a reservation is highly recommended because the space is small - we got lucky!
Had an amazing vegan breakfast this morning! So tasty 😋 would definitely come back when we are next time in Edinburgh. Would recommend this place as a much to visit for breakfast at least to vegetarians and vegans. Great alternative to Pret-a-mange
Lovely restaurant with amazing staff and awesome food. It’s been a while that we’ve found a place that was just perfect in all regards. Spoilt for choices we went with the Thai salad bowl which was absolutely delicious. Service was professional and very personable. Drinks were delicious and the live
Fab little lunch spot I like to visit whenever I’m in Edinburgh! Last time I tried the vegan haggis wrap (made from beans) , the spanakopita, and a donut! They’ve got lovely drinks and coffee as well! Nice staff too. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, but overall I recommend!
Plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options in the deli. Everything looks delicious and my soup was excellent. There is also space to sit and eat inside. Very good place to eat at any time of the day, fresh products with great taste.
Absolutely stunning restaurant in a basement. It's really cozy down there especially with the live music in the evening. The food is completely vegetarian or vegan and really interesting. Furthermore it tastes excellent and its not that expensive. I absolutely recommend the vegetarian haggis and th
Lovely Staff! AMAZING food! Visited here on Good Friday. We did not book, it was already busy with only 2 available tables. There was only 2 of us so we managed to get a seat. The menu is absolutely delicious, a great selection of things but all with carefully selected ingredients to give a contem
Absolutely gorgeous vegan food, both for taste and presentation. Such a lovely atmosphere with few tables and one very attentive waitress. We were lucky to get a table without booking! I'll definitely be retiring on my next trip to Edinburgh.
Absolutely wonderful place. Was very surprised at amazing vegetarian food. Quality was way beyond my expectation. Veg haggis was wonderful. Very nicely prepared beet salad. Never tasted such stuff anywhere. The Coffee martini was out of the world. Very lively music performed by a live band. A very c
Hendersons is an oasis of vegan food in the heart of a very meat-and-potatoes loving city. It's a small restaurant with just one waitress and one chef and seats about 30 people tops, which means even at 4pm on a Thursday it was quite busy. We ordered the asparagus / courgette starter followed by the
Came in for diner by suggestion of a local. What an incredible find! The shop above is great selling, loads of nice stuff, but as soon as you get into the restaurant, it's so beautiful. The layout is great with a real rustic setting, and the atmosphere was brilliant too, clearly a favourite of loc
Really lovely atmosphere inside the restaurant- it’s quite small, only 1 waiter and 1 chef working, but food still came out very quickly. We arrived around 7:30pm and a few menu items had run out, so I’d recommend arriving earlier if you want the full selection! I felt that one of the main dishes (
Great small place to eat at when you’re in Edinburgh! After reading everywhere that you have to go to Hendersons if you visit Edinburgh, I decided to go and I wasn’t disappointed! I had the haggis with purple potatoes which was great and made me full. Afterwards I had the raspberry cheesecake, whi
I really like this vegan restaurant, been there already twice in less than 24 hours. First visit got Cauliflower soup tasted so wonderful, 7 pound, drinking water for free. Second visit got Tofu teriyaki Buddha bowl, 13 pound, needed extra rice for 1,5 pound then chocolate nut cake, 5,5 pound. Highl
I was introduced to Henderson's on my first full day in Edinburgh. I found this unpretentious establishment to be exactly what many people (self included) would imagine a warm, inviting Scottish experience to be. Just a few steps down from the sidewalk or a few steps up from the sidewalk you are
