Had some great food here on the rooftop terrace. The haggis pizza was delicious and the buffalo wings too. Didn’t have high hopes for the food but my expectations were surpassed. The view of the castle is great too. Would highly recommend
Lovely cocktail consumed in there on cocktail week. The building is quirky, we didn't have access to all areas but it felt warm and welcoming. The staff were helpful knowledgeable and friendly. Will go back again. Possibly in the warmer months to use the roof terrace. It's just behind the castle in

Was excited to check this little brewery out. The front is gorgeous with the flowers going up the side. It used to be a church! And then you turn the corner and a perfect view of the castle. After visiting edinburgh castle it is nice to have lunch or dessert at cold Town house, friendly atmospher. You can either sit inside or sit at the terrace and enjoy the castle view.
Wow we were so glad we popped in here, we were lucky to get a table and decided to stay to eat and both the food and drink was exceptional in flavour, lovely thin base pizza and the loaded beef fries were so tasty, really good atmosphere too, a fantastic find in a very trendy area of Edinburgh
