Lovely wee coffee shop on Dalry Road with friendly staff and really good cakes (I recommend the caramel shortcake)! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
Dalry is well served for restaurant options, with places like First Coast, Mia, Locanda de Gusti, RiverLife and Feast offering good diversity of provision. What this part of town has lacked, though, is good coffee. For now, Soderberg on Queensferry Street is about as far west (with the exception of Cafe Colpamia in Roseburn) as coffee excellence extends.
We stayed in Edinburgh for 10 days and visited Chapter One twice for breakfast although it was out of the way from our hotel. The absolute best vegan full Scottish Breakfast in Edinburgh — and we tried many. Coffee and bakery were great too. Will definitely visit again when we visit again. Thank you for having such great vegan options!
Had a peanut butter and banana sandwich what was really nice, just what you would expect. Only the carrot cake was not that nice. Maybe if you like a lot of lemon in your cake, this is perfect for you. It also had a weird sugary taste, my friend also didn’t like it. anyways.. I could not finish the cake
We love this place. Our rental flat is just ‘round the corner and we’ve come here almost every day since we found it. It’s got a great vibe and it’s cozy and sweet. It’s a shame that when you sit outside you’re sitting in front of the waste bins but that’s our only issue. The shop is clean and so is the loo. The vanilla lattes are yummy and the iced pistachio lattes look gorgeous! I’m going to try one before we leave if I can remember I want to before I order. lol
Transcendent and delicious! A triumph of vegan cuisine 🤤😍 But seriously so amazing - had the full breakfast as my first meal in Scotland and I’m in love!
Cute little coffee shop offering breakfast, pastries, sandwiches, and coffee. Pictured is an iced carmel latte, almond croissant, and cappuccino. It is a vegan cafe, so oat milk is the default for drinks, which made me excited for not having to pay an upcharge!
a really nice place & atmosphere in Haymarket. the coconut&chocolate dessert is delicious. the only complaint will be the price for americano 😞£3.6 🤨 like if i was in a posh restaurant in the centre of London.
A lovely fully vegan coffee shop, I heard about their full vegan breakfast so wanted to give it a try.
the breakfast includes red beans, scrambled tofu, 2 big toast rubbed in butter, potato scone, vegan haggis, sausage and bacon.
huge amount of food that can easily last for 2 people.
my favorite of the bunch was the baked red beans and scramble tofu, wasn't really a fan of the bacon & sausage.
the service was extremely nice, the place is beautiful and has a great ambiance.
and to finish with something sweet I also took their red velvet cake which was a bit dry but still taste good.
Omg! First try in Edinburgh for breakfast. The food will blow you away. This little nice place is worth finding and going to. The sandwich was a trip back to childhood memories and fresh jam on warm bread.
Nice cakes. Fast service. Very clean and friendly.
The plants could do with looking after!
The cakes were really good, tried 3 different ones and very impressed. Tea was well made
Atmosphere was quiet on the Wednesday morning we went, which I liked.
Whole place was clean and well looked after, although some of the plants looked a little sorry.
Mix of customers, and no feeling that we had to leave or getting pushed out the door
The toilets were very clean which I think is always a good sign for general hygiene and upkeep
Prices were very reasonable for a vegan cafe with food this good. 2 cakes, pastry and 2 teas dining-in came to £14.15
Would come here again!
We just loved this little cafe!!
We wanted to go eat some breakfast on our last day here and found this lovely vegan cafe!!
Everything is vegan and tasty:)
