Came here with some friends on a Sunday night it was quite don’t understand why because this place is fantastic pad Thai was delicious my friends had Indian said it was great. The staff are great super friendly had a nice conversation with one of them.
Highly recommend! Will definitely revisit next time in Edinburgh. Best ever peshwari naan bread. I would go there just for that. I had to ask for the ingredients as super tasty. There is an extra one, but you can find out when you visit 😉. Forgot to take photos but this was the delicious Merlot wi
I placed an order to pick up so I could dine in my hotel room. The Jalfrezi - Medium Hot was recommended in Uber Eats. My order was ready quickly and it was hot. The staff was very friendly when I entered the restaurant. If you love hot and savory, this is your dish. I haven’t had an Indian dish thi
Rainy evening and we were hungry and tired, found this place by luck and wow were we in for a treat. Best Butter chicken we ever had and the lemon rice fit perfectly with it. The service was warm and welcoming. If I ever visit Edinburgh again this will be one of the places I will go to.
We arrived late at Edinburgh (at around 21:00) and most restaurants are closed except some bars, as we don't take alcohol we chose this Thai / Indian food restaurant. The portion of plate is small but the taste is ok. For the whole restaurant, we are the only customers so the atmosphere is cold. How
Walking along the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, you notice a wing of open doors leading to the first floor of a house on the High Street. I had a great dinner at Shamoli with my friends, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were also very accommodative to our dietary requests. Overall it was a nice restaurant.
Great food and great service. Thai red curry with chicken, Indian lamb starter and garlic naan.
I've visited a couple of times, always with large parties and always late in the evening. Despite these challenges, Shamoli has always delivered a decent meal in good time. I have tried both the Indian and the Thai menus and been satisfied with both.
Absolutely brilliant! We have been Edinburgh many times but never spotted this place. Amazing food service and atmosphere. Will be back thank you
The food was so delicious and the staff was super nice. The price was just right, too. Since it was upstairs and everyone working was masked it was quiet and safe feeling in the restaurant. Indian food was delicious and we were properly full after our meal. Highly recommend!
We came across this place by chance and I'm so glad we did, we ordered set menu for two and enjoyed everything we were served. Staff were friendly and attentive - great service from start to finish
Nice food for a reasonable price, considering the location (by the royal mile) The lassi is a must try, the sweet nan (the coconut one) is one of my favourites too. The korma curry is always a safe choice, alongside the okra. Hope to come back sometime.
Ate here on our first evening in Edinburgh. After a very long day of travel, we were late heading out for dinner and most places had stopped serving food. When we walked into this restaurant, it was clear they were getting ready to close, but they took pity on us and sat us for dinner anyway: we wer
