Our group of friends all enjoyed our lunch here - 2 courses for £21, with plenty of choice. This was about our usual budget, but the wine was not, being somewhat on the expensive side. We prefer not to have music playing, but this was at an acceptable volume, so we could still have a conversation. It was quite quiet on the day we were there, but I imagine when busy it would be very noisy, as yet again there were no soft furnishings to absorb noise. Why do restaurants think this is acceptable? I would definitely recommend Whiskers for the food and the service.

Amazing food. Been here 3 times loved it so much. For Lunch: Chicken Liver (sounds gross but is amazing) and the sugar roasted pork is best. Also, the Coley (fish) is amazing! Highly recommend. For dinner: The lamb shoulder is probably the best. The cod is amazing too. Highly recommend getting two entrees and splitting with your partner.

Been a number of times now and really love it! The soup is amazing, a simple one really kicked up a notch. Tried both the rhubarb pannacotta and the banana sponge and both are ridiculously good. Whiskers is lovely, comfy inside, staff are brilliant and the food is amazing! Really highly recommend visiting.

Had a BRILLIANT Sunday roast here last weekend with the whole family. Sis & I are veggie but they gave us amazing aubergine with all the usual veg trimmings. Was delicious and the meat eaters loved theirs too. Excellent value for money and wonderful staff who were attentive and shared their passion for good wine and good food. Deffo will be returning!

Excellent food in a very cosy and relaxing setting. We had the mackerel and trout for starters, and cod and sole for mains. Everything was great but the cod was the highlight!

Fun, unique, experienced based wine list. 10/10 menu - food was to die for. Service as if at a 5* restaurant. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly! Perfect date night or a memorable night out.

Person who took the booking over the phone was quite curt, first impression wasn't great. However staff that we interacted with in the establishment were lovely, lunch mains were great and very reasonably priced. Other friends have had the sharing platters and they do look like they pale in comparison to a different wine + sharing platter bar that shall remain unnamed! Will return though.
