Having spent a few crazy days and nights here, its a lovely and opened space (Nice) weather spoons, most are dark, smelly and busy, this place every time without a doubt has been great, drinks are affordable and the atmosphere is always different, George street is an expensive street but you can get away with a few cheeky drinks and lavish pub grub for an affordable price!
I'll Be Back. On the west end of George street is this popular jdw pub. An oasis of calm and tastefully decorated, it meets the mark for a relaxing lunch. It's also great value for it's location.
Perfect place for lunch with my work ???? I ordered the vegetarian burrito which was amazing! They have a ramp and stairs which is great for disabled people.
As it is located in town, its very accessible for people to come and have lunch. Am not sure if its busy all week but it definitely was today!
The menu is HUGE and the pricing is good as well, not too costly ????

It’s such a good place for a breakfast chat with friends. The breakfast deal was so valuable. I loved my Egg Benedict.
I had a good experience here. They have different varieties of alcohol and food. The place was very clean and tidy (including the washroom). It would be good if you reserved a table on a weekend before visiting the place because it's always bustling with people and there will be no space to sit.
Best to go during the week in the daytime. Gets very busy at the weekends and evenings. Very nice selection of real ale. I had chicken wings which were nice for the price.
Popped in here a few times, mainly because the beer is cheaper than anywhere else in the city center. It's big and interpersonal so go with a friend. I've recently tried the food, I was actually very impressed, but its a strange system where soft or hard drinks are included in the price, It's good value so no complaints there. Yes! I'd say it is recommended but mainly because everywhere else in the city is an extortionate price!
Good prices, cheaper than the one on Waverley Bridge, good service and nice relaxing surroundings.

For what is referred as pub grub this was one better, I had Lemon and herb Chicken and it was perfectly cooked still moist and very tasty, the wife says hers was also tasty and plentiful she had the Chicken and bacon salad, and each meal comes with a drink of your choise whether you want alcohol or non alcohol included in the price.
Enjoyed a few drinks before meeting friends for lunch. Then we all came back after we had our lunch. We were able to talk and enjoy our time.
It was a lovely place to stop and get some food. The food was good, the service was okay. Clean, reasonably priced, amazing for breakfast. If in Edinburgh, I will definitely return
It was a little busier than when I was last there, but the food is good and value for money. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Overall well worth a visit, for good food and a chance to relax and catchup with friends and family.
This is a nice weather spoons pub. Friendly staff and drink at great prices. Did not have anything to eat.
Bar staff were very polite and friendly. Enjoyed the atmosphere and comfort, great value when ordering food and drink
My favourite Weatherspoons... Plenty of space... Clean and well run...Food is good, as is the service... Can't fault the place.. Always enjoy visiting this one...
