As expected Pizza express and their staff never disappoint.
Staff were amazing at this branch. Very friendly and helpful.
And the food ordered arrived in timely manner. The flavours were great.
No issues at all. Family had great time and enjoyed our evening meal after lots of walking around the city and castle.
The only unfortunate thing is they are covered with scaffolding and finding them was bit tricky.
Following a full day of exploring, we took immense pleasure in indulging in the delectable cuisine at pizza express. The chicken wings and pollo pizza we savored were truly exceptional. Our waiter's joyful demeanor further enhanced our experience, making it even more delightful. We wholeheartedly endorse it as a must-visit destination!
Good service and it was good to try out some new, different drinks that they had on the menu.
We did not have a reservation prior to coming in, however the table was provided quick enough.
The staff was well attentive and inviting throughout our stay. At times the staff seemed quite busy running around even though the restaurant was not that busy (visited on Tuesday, 14th of Feb).
Only thing was a slight let down when we received a dirty spoon for our dessert (I’m sure it was an honest mistake), but still not very professional. This matter was quickly resolved after locating the staff and requesting a new spoon.
Overall, would dine here again but with extra attention to my silverware.

But what I have to give real credit was the service.
The person serving us was beyond good! Friendly, nice, warm with a big smile.

It was a quiet midweek night and the place was barely occupied with guests. We were seated immediately by friendly, efficient staff. No complaints about service.
The Chicken Tikka and Hot American pizzas had sufficient flavor however I found the thin crust flaccid. Wish their ovens and dough recipe could produce a crispier product.
All in all, a pleasant enough experience which my boys enjoyed, but if they hadn’t insisted on trying the chain, I would have preferred a more authentic Italian establishment.

There is a varied selection for pizza and pasta lovers. The Spicy Giuseppe pizza I ordered satisfied my cravings for a punchy taste while my friends raved about the Garlic Prawn and Mushroom and Truffle pizzas they ordered. All pizzas were thin crusted which were perfect for the delectable toppings.
The staff were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable.

Sat in for a lovely dinner and was served by the delightful Steven. The food was delicious and Steven was so helpful and as a gluten free customer he made me feel comfortable and talked me through all the best options for me. Will definitely come back. Thank you to Steven and all the staff here.
Popped in for a bite to eat after studying. The food was tasty and hot. OUCH ! (All good hehe!) Our server Jodie was lovely and made sure we were grand!

Visited pizza express yesterday, and had the most wonderful, friendly and attentive server. I believe their name was Kathy, but I may have misheard them (they had piercings and very cool green hair) and they were possibly the best server I’ve ever had! Thank you so much for the great service and lovely evening ☺️
A really good example of this particular chain restaurant. What makes it stand out is the staff. We visited in the midst of the Edinburgh festival, at lunch time on a Saturday and the staff were epic.
Food to the usual standard and only slight drawback is a hefty price tag. You'll pay around 5 quid more for a pizza here than a local Italian restaurant.
But it is big, great for kids and parties and generally a decent spot.
Excellent choice for pizza! Great good, friendly service from Christian! Highly recommend. Hard to see the restaurant due to the construction going on around the area. Hidden by much of the equipment and scaffolding.
Pizza was fine. Stuff too friendly. A little more distance to the customer please. Very high prices.
Serving staff was friendly and welcoming. Extremely pleasant and patient. Food was fine - not the best pizza I've ever had. We went in the early evening and had no problem getting table for six - the scaffolding and construction that was partially blocking the building probably held back foot traffic from stopping in.
We were looking for a quick bite and this certainly fit the bill. They had so many options for vegans and vegetarians and we appreciated that. Delicious vegan sausage. They did a great job and the thin crust was tops
Wow where do I begin?. Lovely restaurant with hot, fresh pizza, lovely staff, good spot, quick service, popular. When I was in Edinburgh I went to this restaurant everyday!. I loved my experience at this restaurant. I would definitely recommend eating here!
