This cafe is a real gem here in Edinburgh . As soon as you walk in you are greated by the smiles of lovely staff . The warmth you are received with complemented by the amazing selection on the menu . I was delighted with my selection of French toast . The food came promptly & it was some of the tast
I ordered the full Scottish highlander breakfast and it was exactly as the name suggests . It was big enough to feed two and a Scottish deer šŸ¦Œ could not jump it . The staff were super friendly and I would most certainly recommend this place for a breakfast before or after an early morning stroll aro
Went for breakfast with friends. Able to cater for 6. Sat together, staff friendly and helpful. We could chose anything off the menu didn't have to be breakfast. Obliging to change dishes to suit tastes. I had the bagel with salmon cream cheese and smashed avocado, delish. Bagel was fresh and soft,
We chose this place for breakfast after noticing their sign ā€œDogs welcome, humans toleratedā€. We were all made very welcome but our dog was looked after best of allā€¦ bowl of water on arrival and personally fed a tasty sausage by the chef. Our breakfast was absolutely deliciousā€¦ a variant of eggs Be
A lovely good value breakfast. And the staff were lovely! I had the Scottish breakfast and was full for the rest of the day. Highly recommend
super much life and super friendly people and lots of customers and very pretty waitresses and French breakfast is the best
This was one of the few places serving breakfast at 8:40 am in the area and I was starving so I decided to pop in for a full Scottish Breakfast. The meal was filling and yummy, the staff was friendly and fast, and they have free WiFi! Recommended if you want an unpretentious meal or snack.
"They had wonderful breakfast menus. My brother and I had a satisfying breakfast. The staff were also very lovely ladies. Coffee and tea were the same price. I will come again."
Why is Edinburgh not known for their pastries cause every one I had there sucked my soul out of my body and returned it anew. DELECTABLE PAIN AU CHOCOLAT. Tasted like there may be a bit of marzipan in it so it was chewy but still crispy on the outside. They also make the best tea. Lovely to sit outs
This Cafe was a treat, clean, fun decorations, good drinks, great food and nice staff. Normally, it's a busy place, but if you catch it when it's slow it's also nice. Two folks working at a time as far as I saw, and the service was good. I imagine you would need to have a little more patience if it
Ordered the full Scottish and shakshouka for brunch. Really good dishes, well executed except for the spice level in shakshouka - WAAYYY too spicey. Other than that, definitely recommend this place, service is really good!
A really lovely cafe in a great location. A very cosy atmosphere with a good selection of food. Great for sitting in or taking away with fast and friendly service.
