Souq - Edinburgh - Photo album

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. The food is very, very tasty. If there were more than five stars, I would give it. (Order (a plate of mixed grills / falafel / hummus / spring roll cheese / plates with meat) price is 125 pounds. The presentation is very nice, I liked the grill plate. T
Awesome Turkish food which I love. Though I may say it is my favourite cuisine it was my first experience drinking Raki the local beverage. The barbecue platter was a great choice which gives you an experience with most the dishes on the menu. A must visit for anyone in Newington area of Edinburgh.
Had an absolutely fantastic and delicious lunch. Thank you very much for the amazing food. Liver and caçik for starters, and two huge pide for main, turkish sausage, and mince and cheese. Then baklava with ice cream and my personal favourite Kunefe!! (cheese pastry pudding) with a scoop of ice cream
Fantastic (Halal) food and typical turkish cuisine. You will feel you are sitting somewhere in Istanbul. Mixed grill and meat balls were delicious and mouthwatering. Atmosphere is also beautiful with Turkish touch. Staff was lovely and friendly. Great service. Must try it when you visit Edinburgh. 1
Good dine in experience for lunch We were here for our lunch after a hectic morning. Staff was friendly as most of the restaurants that you can normally experience. Conversation goes beyond the sales, a friendliness that I have to appreciate in a middle eastern restaurant. Great ambience with huge
This is the best restaurant in Edinburgh. The service was amazing and we were looked after from when we entered to when we left. The flavour of the mixed grill was 10/10, the rice, the salad, the meats, everything was just perfect. They also have baby changing room so great for children and families
A great Turkish restaurant offering a range of classic dishes. The atmosphere and the interior design is really nice and the staff are polite. The food was tasty and their menu range is huge, anything from traditional starters to kebabs, they have it. There is no doubt you'll have a nice experience
I've been to Turkey a few times, and I can confidently say this is definitely the best Turkish cuisine restaurant in the town. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is out of this world. It's a bit pricey compared to others but the portion sizes are generous and the food is delicious, worth e
Second time and we found the same nice atmosphere, gentle staff and wide choice of Turkish dishes and a lot of vegetarian as well. Recommended the hot starter to share (it is vegeterian) and the mince&cheese pide (really tasteful lamb mince). The Sweet Cheese Pastry Kunefe desert is delicious! (Prob
The food here is amazing. I wanted to eat everything. The staff were all super nice and friendly. I stumbled across this place by accident and took a peek in. The place itself is lovely. For some strange reason the place was empty, we presumed they were either just opening or closing. First time eve
The food was so delicious, friendly staff, Hasan and mehamed were so attentive and welcoming.
Its always a delight going to Meze Grill, since the takeover the place has definitely gone up levels! I've brought business clients, family and friends to Meze Grill and all have enjoyed it thoroughly The food, service and atmosphere is top notch. Staff are very friendly. The owner Ashraf is a top l
Fantastic evening meal washed down with a couple of pints of Efes. I’d highly recommend the Pide (pronounced pea-day) and the hot and cold mixed meze starters. Everything we had was lovely and the staff were attentive, friendly and generous with additional extras. A great Turkish night out.
Great Turkish restaurant. They have a lunch menu, but also the variety of the menu is amazing. we had the hot starters and the lahmacun!! I've Armenian family and the Turkish food are similar so I can fully recommend this place! It's very authentic!
I saw this place on Ticktok and just had to try it when we were up in Edinburgh. Hot meze starter was lovely. Mixed Kebab for 3 was a sight to behold. And the meat was tasty and succulent. I can’t recommend it enough.
Excellent service, was welcomed in and was graciously served. Ordered the lamb and chicken shish and lamacun! My best friend is Turkish and I’ve grown up eating at her home in the US and our local Turkish restaurants only had beef lamacun. I was excited to find so much lamb on the menu as my family
