Nice vegetable curry, lamb curry, and nan bread, the tea is also great, recommended. You can take away if you can't finish your foods at the restauran. The baklava is good. Located near the mosque (you can park your car here; behind the mosque there is parking area). Friendly staffs as well.
Went for lunch and the Doner Kebab is the bomb. We also ordered a cheese Nan Bread which was soft and tasty. Kebab meat was juicy and they do not skimp on the amount served with the Doner.
Veggies were plentiful too. I would definitely come back and try some of the other dishes as everything smelled
It's a small restaurant, not luxury at all, but I do like to say they offer the best chicken curry I tested in my life, so delicious you can't stop eating after tasting it as well the tandoori was nice, would recommend 😋
We ordered roti, chicken biryani, and chicken lollipop. All quite delicious. We paid £19.95.
The place is delicious , they are the best believe my words, I was in heaven it's so tasty and mouth melting , I had chicken Rogan Josh and chicken tikka, keema. It's worth the price and they do take away as well. I was tummy full but my heart wasn't. THE BEST PLACE FOR ASIAN CRAVINGS. If you fancy
Food is very good. Service is very good too. 10/10 will come back again wiz frens.
Ordered: mixed vegetable curry, tandoori mixed main, mixed kebab. Recommend all.
We’ve been customers for over 20 years both sit in and takeaway! Both lamb and chicken dishes always tender and tasty! Breads are superb too!
Kind and helpful staff, delicious food and not expensive. Highly recommended.
Always a warm welcome. No frills, dress down interior with a canteen feel. But just the best curry in Edinburgh. Quick, easy and delicious. My go to curry house when I’m out in the city.
:)
big portion of food
price reasonable
thumbs up for the mixed kebab - really tasty to perfection
Great food, great hospitality and kind team. If you are looking for halal options in Edinburgh, you will be delighted with Kebab Mahal!
Authentic food with proper hygiene and more than enough portion size. 1 naan is enough for two people along with a portion of rice. Delicious gravies and kebabs with complimentary raita and chutney salad which is rare in Edinburgh. Finger licking and stomach filling experience.
One of best Indian restaurants in Edinburgh especially in terms of the size of the plates and the prices. The staff are also very friendly and provide a great service.
24 years ago as a country bumpkin brand new student to the city I had my first authentic curry at the place nearest to where I was studying...
It was stunning!
And I treated myself to a starter portion of Tandori chicken and a naan when I was studying for exams...
This week I went back.... I uses
