Amazing experience! Lisa is running the best brunch in town and you don't know yet.
During my stay at the Point A Hotel, I would brunch there whenever I could. Besides being a lovely place, the food is INCREDIBLE, really! I was amazed by the care in every detail and the size of the plate (a lot of food!).
I love it and really recommend it. Go with time so you can enjoy š
I am from Brazil and I am surely coming back whenever in Edinburgh! You made it to my list "best places in the world" š„°
An absolutely top shelf one-woman run shop with 5 small tables plus window seating. Yes, Lisa runs the kitchen AND register AND busses tables, so if you need your food immediately, do go somewhere else. But if you have a modicum of time and patience, they will be rewarded with hills of buttery soft eggs on fresh toast with piping hot sausage, very fine black tea and among the best blueberry pancakes I've ever had; big juicy blueberries in moist cakes with crisp edges. Very impressive. Some reviews mention rude service but I do wonder who was rude first. Sometimes you get what you give in this life. I coughed a little due to overly enthusiastic pancake consumption and a minute later, she sat a pitcher of water and a glass on my table. A quick "Can't have you dying on my watch" and she was off again. She's providing a service, not a servant. A++
This spot is charming. The owner is the chef, and she is amazing. I enjoyed my first visit here, so much that I had to come back before flying back home. I highly recommend the porridge with all the toppings.
Greatly impressed with unplanned visit. Impressed by selection of teas, as well as the food that was delicious and genourously portioned. Very reasonably priced too.
As small not much space and server seemed busy, but still considerate and helpful with suggestions and comments (this food item is spicy but both are popular, this tea is nice on its own but let me know if you want milk with it).
Nice decor, music not too loud. Would definitely come again.
Cute little tearoom for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Honeycomb convinces with big portions of fresh food and great coffee.
The prices are insane! 5/5 highly recommended
Great and wide selection of tea, served by a lovely lady. Pancakes were a bit soft in the middle but generally quite nice. Would like to visit again.
Nice little vintage place. Had breakfast and the food is absolutely amazing with very reasonable price. Already decided to come here again tomorrow!
Total respect to the lady who owns this. Welcomed us this morning when we walked in although she was busy doing everything. Greeting, cooking, coffee making all in a chilled and welcoming environment. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Excellent value for money. Ā£9 for the full breakfast and there was so much food. Perfect hangover cure.
Donāt be fooled by the size of the place because thereās plenty of seating.
What an absolutely lovely place! The blueberry pancakes were to die for and the owner was so nice and welcoming . Iām so happy we found this place and will definitely come back next time in Edinburgh!!

Best breakfasts I've ever had ANYWHERE. Creative menu, fresh food, attentive service. Do yourself a favor and go!
Food fab & freshly made, coffee š
Excellent choice of teas, iced teas & smoothies. Excellent priced, friendly & quite boho - will be back
So I have literally just finished the creamy mushrooms and poached eggs on sourdough bread.....OMG! It was so delicious! I will definitely be back again.
I was lucky enough to happen by around noon and get a seat in this almost impossibly charming and delicious breakfast spot with lots of different offerings. Just thinking about the bacon makes my mouth water! I hope to return on a future Edinburgh trip to try more of the menu!
A lovely little restaurant. We had a fantastic breakfast here, all cooked from scratch. The full breakfast was huge and incredibly good value for money. Quaint touch was leaf tea not bags in a porcelain cup. Would highly recommend this little gem and the hard working lady who was taking orders and doing the cooking.
I love this place.
She served amazing dishes.
Had huevos Pericos and the blueberry scone. Portions were generous. Very tasty. Everything was made fresh and the scone was homemade. Aesthetic interior. Would recommend!
I had the savory waffle with avocado, salmon, eggs and waffle - it was super good, and very filling! The eggs was a bit overcooked, but that didn't take away from how good it tasted. My boyfriend had French toast with bacon and syrup and that was tasty as well.
Very cute little place!
Delicious food (and huge portions!) and lovely selection of teas. Service was good and the food came out pretty quickly. The prices are also extremely fair.
Only negative is that the cafe was a bit smoky from the kitchen.
Amazing breakfast/brunch place. The quality, the serving etc is off the charts. Once we had our breakfast here, we went there every day till we were in Edinburgh. Don't miss it if you're nearby.
