Genuinely love the burgers here! Especially the breakfast burger and I'm not sure why. Nachos are great, the ribs have far too much bbq sauce on them and the mint oreo sundae is HEAAVEENLY. Love this place, the service and ambience with all my heart.
I really enjoyed my meal at the Filling Station. We ate from their early evening menu which offers 2 courses for £12.95. Although this is only starter and main, no dessert :( The food was really good. For starter I had the bacon and cheese potato skins and my friend had the sea salt pretzels. Both were amazing but the pretzels were just the best! We both had a pulled pork sandwich for main, also really good and their skinny fries were really nicely cooked. I would really recommend and will be returning when I can!
I visited Filling Station today but I totally forgot to take pics because I was so excited to see my bestie! Plus I was starving and not lying I scoffed my pizza down in 5 minutes might I add it was a very delish pizza! I'm a massive goats cheese fan and this veggie option was amazing and the plates a pretty decent size you could share the plate but then again Joey (Shakira) doesn't share food. I had Bruschetta for starters they where so good and so packed with my fave tomatoes and onions. Overall I loved this place including the interiors! The American booth style they have going is cracking and I love how they went for a green leather as a pose to classic red. Awesome.
One of my favourite American style dinning restaurants! I was invited along as a blogger to check the Christmas menu :) (please check the other two events I have attended associated with filling station on my blog) the Christmas drinks and menu is sooooo yummy! I love mash potatoes! And the desert as usual! The best part!
Good portions for price. Our group tried the breakfast feast, pancakes and haggis & egg stack amongst other things. Removed a star as the potato tots could've been crispier and service was overall lukewarm.
Bit expensive for what you get but we had 2 for 1, food was lovely, well presented and staff really friendly and helpful, pudding was amazing but a big portion!! And not sure why the lady gave me a knife and fork? A spoon would've been better for my ice-cream 😂
Amazing place, music and above all, the food. Had the full english and was superb dispite missing the breakfast midday deadline. Great service too - Karina was the best! I'll post my snap of the breakfast. Fantastic icecream too - compliments tothe Chef.
had the meatballs and pasta which was very filling and plenty of it. Then had sticky toffee pudding which was lovely. see pic. Wife had duck salad , again very nice . we had 2 pints of tennants and a large rose' - £44.90. Reasonable for city centre and food excellent.
Went in for some early lunch. Unfortunately the breakfast menu continues until midday. Food was good though and price was very reasonable.
It was quite busy when we arrived so the staff weren't very attentive but can hardly blame them considering.

Visited twice during our trip due to good location to our hotel! The atmosphere was a little drab because of the lack of people however the restaurant itself was pretty and well kept. The worst part of this experience was unfortunately the service, the waiters both times just seemed uninterested and wanting us to leave as quick as possible. This sounds pretty meh so far so why 4*? The food was actually very good! On the second trip in particular I had the burger with chili cheese sauce (sorry I forgot the name!) And it was very appetizing and ended up saving the day. If looking for a bite at a quiet restaurant with decent food would recommend giving this place a second look!

Went there for a couple of cocktails and lunch. Our server was Daniel. He did a great job of making our stay unforgettable. The service was fast and the food was great for the price. Thanks a lot for everything! We will definitely be back another time!
Went into this filling station as its ideally located right in the centre of Edinburgh. A great atmosphere and decent portion of food. Cocktails were also fab. The service was superb, not invasive like in so many other. Thank you Daniel, our server, who made the experience so much more delightful. Definitely will be returning.
The portions are good size, but I had a double burger anyway. The food is above average and Andrej the shift manager/waiter was great. We arrived Saturday evening without reservation and got a table in minutes, although the place was very busy.
I like the Filling Station when I do not know what I want because they have a bit of everything. Good drinks. Good food. Good atmosphere. Good service. Black and Blue Burger was really good today. I do wish they would go back to tossing the chicken fingers in the buffalo sauce for the Blue Cheese Tenders.
