Ryries Bar - Edinburgh - Photo album

Great pub with a welcoming interior. Outside there are plenty of seats available but I would definitely recommend to go inside. The food on the other hand is not worth mentioning. It's rather pricy and OK at most. Can't recommend for pub feed. The snacks were quite good but the burgers were a huge
Visited pub for 1st time since around 2010. Glad I did as brilliant pub and service There were at least 11 different types of beer. I chose Cromarty Brewing - Rogue Wave. An excellent pint. James, the manager was on and very impressed with way he interacted with customers explaining differences bet
This is a rough and ready pub. A proper boozer. I suspect many of it's inhabitants are en route to and from Haymarket railway station after a business day in Scotland's capital. They have a good selection of beers and real ales from a variety of breweries. The bar staff were great and let me taste a
Went into here as wanted to find a nice bar for traditional food. We had Pigs in Blankets, Sausage Roll, Buttery Mash and Garlic Cheesy Bread. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. The service was excellent and with a smile 😊.
Ryrie's is a traditional pub with dark wood decor. It is a long narrow pub with a wooden floor so it can be a bit noisy when busy. It also has a small upstairs area which also has a bar. There are a few TV screens here and there for catching up on the news or sports. Most importantly it has a gre
This is such a lovely pub, full of history and it's just an amazing atmosphere. Gluten free beer on tap and in bottles. Highly recommend
Great selection of drink. Great service
Popped in to escape the rain and have a quick pint. Given its proximity to the train station I expected it would be expensive and under par - I was completely wrong, amazing selection of ales and an even better selection of whisky at a very reasonable price. Great bar tender and an amazing atmospher
Lovely place, looked after a weary, socially anxious and slightly hungover traveller with incredible kindness. Good selection of beers and whiskies that I'd have liked to explore further..... if it weren't for the trumpeting band of raccoons parading round my brainbox! Cheers chaps
FANTASTIC PUB; a ‘proper pub’. Next to the train station so perfect for the traveller (there’s even live train times on a screen behind the bar), hosting a warm welcome and great local beers. The bar man was more than happy to let me taste a few beers and was very knowledgeable about the beer. Grea
A Scottish renaissance style public bar. Located near the center of Edinburgh, at the Haymarket area. This public bar offers decent dishes and a variety of ales, and yes, also 39 kind of Scottish whiskies on the shelf. The ambience is right if you are visiting on the right time. The wodden accent wi
All 3 gents in downstairs bar on Sunday 13/08/23 towards the end of the day were fantastic. Ability to keep a friendly conversation while serving other customers was astounding. Will definitely be back, can’t recommend enough
Super cool pub, amazing atmosphere and delicious food! I tried the haggis bon bons for the first time and they were awesome! They also serve the best cole slaw ever! Fish and chips, the beef burger and kind of a stew were great as well! Love it and will definitely come back!
Very cosy tradition pub, right near the train station and main area of Haymarket. Lots of beers to taste and I expect lots of choices with other drinks. Lovely atmosphere, bar snacks/starters available to order.
Drank our first Guiness in this nice looking bar. Really nicely decorated and in an old looking manner. Nice to see how they tapp beers here.
A lovely little pub right beside the train station and tram/ bus stop. Ideal if you want to have something to eat before or after travelling. The staff are very friendly and the food is really good and very reasonably priced.
