Snax Cafe - Edinburgh - Photo album

In Edinburgh for two days to see the Tattoo. After our breakfast here on Day 1, we weren’t going elsewhere on Day 2. Fine dining it isn’t, but we didn’t expect that. However the food was well cooked, tasty and certainly not greasy. For good basic food at a fair price Snax Cafe does not disappoint. T
Fantastic spot for coffee and something light to eat. It’s a hidden gem! And by that a really mean it’s hidden - it’s off the main road in an ally so had to use Google maps to direct me. It was going to be a 4 star, but the breakfast roll and coffee turned it into a solid 5 for me. My daughter in
Low fuss, delicious breakfast. Perfect when you’re looking for something to fill you up. Cooked well, coffee is strong for the UK. Standard double shot.
The best breaky roll I've had in the UK. Gotta try the haggis roll, it was simple but delish.
We each had a full Scottish breakfast here as our first breakfast in Scotland. It was a great introduction to a proper full Scottish. The place is small but very busy with a lot of locals stopping in for their regular orders. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. It's a great value for the
Pro: affordable price with standard quality of breakfast! Perfect for takeaway. Con: crowded and a long queue is waiting for you. Not the places that guarantee you a seat for dining in, with a toilet or even offer reservations.
The ladies working were super sweet and I liked that you could pop in for a quick breakfast and tea/coffee.
Love a snax. Cheapest place in town for quality filling food. Double breakfast roll and a traybake for a fiver can't be beaten. Staff are pretty awesome too. Anyone who has spent any time around the centre as a youth knows this is the long running establishment for when you get the munchies
Recommended to me by a local, this place did not disappoint! A very authentic feeling place, and the food is absolutely true Scottish eats. Perfect for those who like to avoid tourist spots and eat like a local. The biggest breakfast is to die for! Go go go.
A great choice based on quality-price Best items: hash Brown bites and turkey brie cranberry pannini Staff is great!
Perfection. Great food for the price, and the service was slick. We had a full breakfast + a wrap, it was delicious. Definitely worth trying while in Edinburgh.
Great authentic Scottish breakfast. Small place but they get a lot of local customers from people in suits to construction workers.
Egg, sausage and baked beans all is good. I got full protein. And thanks to friendly staffs.
Brilliant tasty food. Great value. Ideal to start your day around Edinburgh.
We went here because it was so highly recommended. Definitely fun experience, very well priced, but the food was fine. Filling and nice service but did not blow my mind.
I ordered the veggie Scottish wrap with chips. It was a bit busy and Unfortunately another person left with my food and I took their veggie breakfast wrap which is totally fine. It tasted good, the fries could be fried longer.
