The Mosque Kitchen - Edinburgh - Photo album

This place must be a popular stop for the uni goers in Edinburgh because you can get a big plate of curry served buffet style for under £10 . There are no waiters to pay for , just a cook and server , serving from containers in a glass cabinet so you pick whatever takes your fancy . In my case I o
Returned to MK after a long time. And it was well worth the visit. Canteen like feel with a set menu and food is ready to be dished out, so no waiting. I had the chilli chicken & rice and it was epic, spiced just right with a delicious sauce. Generous portion too, very filling. I won't be waiting so
Great place to grab tasty lunch. Good variety and quick service.
Amazing place. The food was great and not pricey at all. You get to choose from a variety of vegetarian and vegan options and the staff was very nice. Just be careful with the different sauces and curry’s, it can be really spicy. One sauce was a bit too hot for me but I could have just asked. Would
Canteen-style restaurant, very simple, basic environment. Food excellent, limited but adequate choice, chicken and lamb meat dishes, good selection of vegetarian options. Rice included but ask for their excellent chapatis. My favourite pull-in for a quick lunch.
We did order a fair amount for many of us, it was busy time as plenty of people, food was nice but maybe avoid pizza as it was still doughy and top was all done. Will recommend the wraps which is good portion size. They should get another toilet in there or just a side sink where can wash hands only
It has a reasonable price and the food was quite ok.. I did had much better but this one was still acceptable. Just the workers didnt really inform us that some dished were too spicy and when we entered we needed to figure out ourselves and ask how the ordering system worked. We went back and ate
Unpretentious good food at a fair price. Perhaps a little rough and ready, but none the worse for that, staff are hard working and friendly, the food is excellent, good portions, after being served at the counter you take a seat at one of the long tables, falling into discussion with whoever is si
This place is GREAT! We loved stopping here. The staff was friendly. It was popular but not crowded. They had a lot of ready-made curries which reminded me a bit of an upscale cafeteria. The tikka masala was great. Also, get yourself the garlic butter naan. So yummy. Portions of everything are large
Masha'allah great restaurant and great hospitality. A definite 5 stars - great quality food and very affordable price. And, ask for Karak Chai, you will love it ❤️!
Good portion of foods* served. Good value in terms of price compare to other Asian cuisine around. 2 person's Total cost £23 including Tea. *Halal foods
Absolutely recommendable for the light and budget travelers. The menu is affordable and the staff are kind. Easy to choose the dishes and the portion is quite big, so very much satisfied. This place reminds me the times in uni.
Would highly recommend this place, on a evening out it was worth going here and get to try their very delicious karahi dishes... would definitely go back again even from so many miles away.
Excellent food, brings the authentic taste of desi food. Perfect for a hearty lunch after walking around touristing the city of Edinburgh. Generous portions, relatively cheap. Very spacious dining area. Food on display behind glass, see exactly what your food looks like! Managed to share a plate wit
CLASSICALLY GREAT TASTING CURRY Came here on a Wednesday at around 2pm and there were plenty of seats available. It was also new year's Day so was thankful that it was open. About 30 minutes later it got quite busy. You are able to sit wherever as it setup with communal style seating. There are lo
