Best. Sandwich. Shop. Ever! Went in during Edinburgh Comic Con for lunch and had the bacon, brie and cranberry panini. It was amazing, I actually got sad when I finished it. It's in a great location.

The service was exceptionally good. A very boring couple was hogging a table and the cashier walked outside and bused their table and they got the message. It made everyone happy. Great to-go sandwiches and the bagel BLT was delicious. Would go again in a heartbeat.

I was passing by today and the queue was quite long, but moving quickly. So I thought I should give it a try. I asked for a TOASTED, coronation chicken ciabatta ….. absolutely delicious, mouth watering, and probably the best, chance, lunch choice I’ve made in a very long time. Reasonably priced quality food, friendly and efficient staff. I’m not often in the area but I will definitely make sure I return. 100% worth a visit.

I was early for a local hospital appointment and nipped in for a quick coffee and snack.I had a fantastic and tasty cappuccino made with oat milk. Lovely. (Not all places can make a cappuccino with oat milk). Home made chocolate slice went down well too. 😋 I overheard an interaction between one of the genuinely friendly two men that obviously run Bobby’s, and a family with two small children who appeared to be tourists. The customer service was excellent and felt I had to put up here how good it was. If you are in this area, go in here and you’ll be treated very well. Keep up the great customer service gents, and I wish you well for future trading.

Really yummy soup and reasonable price, great location and nice seating for such a small place. Great pit stop for lunch

Great place, many locals seem to come here for lunch. I had a gluten free pastrami bagel to go, which was delicious. The place was very small and crowded so I wouldn’t particularly recommend eating in (except by good weather on the terrace). The staff was lovely.

I have been popping into Bobby’s Sandwich Bar for seriously good sandwiches for over a decade and it never disappoints. I could give them 10 more stars if it was possible. Good service, good food, good coffee and good banter. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Excellent breakfast/lunch spot. Friendly staff, great food, and reasonable prices. (I did not try their coffee but it also smelled fantastic.) The only obvious drawback I've noticed with the place is that there is not a lot of seating but that was largely a non-issue as they weren't especially busy when I went. Overall 5/5 absolutely would recommend!

This is definitely gorgeous place for snacks, meals or coffee or just anything healthy. Mr Craig who runs this store is a very honest and down to earth guy. He served us hot soups and delicious rolls even though we dropped during the closing time. The vegetarian and vegan options were certainly top notch with loads of healthy options. Highly recommended and a must visit place for a lovely home cooked food.

Right beside Greyfriars Kirkyard and the perfect place to grab a delicious and fulfilling toastie and/or a hot beverage. Cute little cafe perfect to dine in or get a quick takeaway.

Dropped in to Bobby's for lunch when I was in Edinburgh the other day. What a treat! I was served a delicately spiced Moroccan style lentil soup that was so delicious and satisfying I begged for the recipe. I also had one of their special hot egg rolls. This soft roll was filled with a lightly spiced, fluffy omelet - yes please! But possibly the star of the show was their flat white, which was leagues ahead of one I had purchased the day before in a fancy coffee bar down in Leith, and frankly better than most I have been served in any of the coffee shops during my 3 week stay in the UK - and I drink a lot of the stuff :)

Just stumbled across this place whilst we were visiting Greyfriar’s Kirkyard. Cosy place and friendly staff. The lentil soup was divine. The hummus & roasted veggie roll and the spiced tuna roll were fresh and a decent portion. Would highly recommend if you want a decent lunch/ coffee to go!

Popped in here for coffee and toasties. I was very impressed with the veggie haggis and vegan cheese toastie, coffee was good also and the place is very vegan friendly. Will be back for more. Prices are very reasonable and owner is very tentative.
